We need sites like this that make is aware in these evil last days. I come here to stay sharp on events that previous to coming n here I knew nothing about. I see too much Pastors saying everything is gonna be alright (yes in Christ) as if the world is gonna get better but if we read scriptures we know that the signs of today are signs of worse to come and no amount of prayer or claiming will change that fact, IT IS WRITTEN! We must not be afraid because Jesus has overcome the world but we cannot and must not bury our heads in the sand and give messages irrelevant to the times and the truth as we see it in the word.

Like you I cannot see where Pres. Obama is saved, one who is saved CANNOT say that there are many ways to God but unfortunately I have ran into many “Christians” who say otherwise and I wonder and am puzzled how one could fo to Church and deny that as the core of our faith. If that is not true of Christ being The Way, What would be the point?

Whats is your take on Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton being so involved? and isnt it a joke that you hear them talk a lot about black/white issue but never hear Christ? is Christ reserved for Chrsitians?

One more thing, I know you comment on gospel songs what is your take on the Mary Mary song “God in me”, I have questioned it.

But you picked it up. Yes, we should pray that God save Obama. It not God’ desire that any should perish, but its not a one-sided salvation. However some who voted for him think he is already good and saved.
I agree with you that if you do not believe salvation is through Christ alone, which I think (based on his public declarations of his religion) Obama does not subscribe to, he cannot be saved until he does accept that as truth.

I have asked myself this question also, if we can pray and ask God to change Pres. Obama. Yes God does tell us to pray and obey those in authority that we would live peaceable lives but I dont see where it says pray for ones salvation, that is more on them hearing the truth. I have a question, if one claims to be a Christian and has gone to church most of their life, undoubtedly hearing the message of salvation that Jesus is the only way and that same person rejects the divinity of Christ, saying that Jesus is not the only way, can such a person be prayed for effectively?

Struggling in sin is on thing because the bible tells us that the more spiritual should the restore those but a denial of Christ as the only way to heaven in no doubt the spirit of the antichrist.

I dont believe that “prayer changes things”. I believe that prayer changes (transforms) people and people change things. That means as we pray, we pray into God’s will and he uses us to manifest his will on earth as it is in heaven. God is not a man who can be moved by the whims of our desires when they are not in line with his will. James 4:2,3 calls that praying “amiss”. And more than often our prayers are selfish and self serving as opposed to truly praying “let thy will be done”.

That is not to say that effective, fervent prayers of the righteous have not instituted change in people or things by the supernatural, wonder working power of God. Im certain it has. I mean all things are possible to them that believe. But even that is encased withing the will of God. But its a little backwards to vote a person into office with all the information available on their beliefs and they pray and ask God to change him. That’s like marrying someone with a bad lifestyle and then praying that they will change once they marry you.

Prevention is much better than a cure.
