I had a chance to work with Mary Mary in a concert and I remember hearing so-called Christian men making sexual remarks towards them because of their glossy-sensual look. The spirit of the world was all over that concert and I’m not suprised of their marketing attempt to join demonic forces of the “lust” spirited Maxwell to upward their mobility in the secular industry. They are getting sensual and even more sensual every time they appear on TV. I don’t blame Maxwell because Maxwell is lost and needs to be ministered to, but it is Mary Mary’s responsibilty to hold themselves accountable for their “lukewarmish” approach. They should be praying for Maxwell, not using his name to make some money. SHAME on THEM.

Let us not be too suprised by the things we see and hear in the so-called gospel music world. Jesus warned us that all of this will be taking place. But there will be a remnant and that’s all He needs. You all are that remnant, so keep speaking God’s truth and remain steadfast.

I agree that MM has no business opening up for Maxwell. Their spirits should be convicted. The world sees what we are doing, but God knows WHY we are doing what we do. It’s about motives. Is MM opening up for Maxwell to make money for themselves and Maxwell? Do MM want to be well known and considered “cool” by the world?

Both of these girls seem to be very arrogant and stuck on themselves. I hope they get it together before Jesus returns or before they physically die. If they are going to be christians, then they need to forsake all worldly attractions, attitudes, thoughts, and FOLLOW and OBEY Jesus and His Word. I for one refuse to purchase any of their music.

Excellent advice CS! Stop empowering these false teachers and false psalmists with your hard earned money that God gave you to help establish his covenant and his kingdom in the earth. These people take your money and pervert God’s word and help satan promote his agenda.

STOP IT and redirect your money to what is pleasing to God and glorifies him.

Money, Money, Money! Fame! Fame! Fame!
Put a “Christian/Gospel Singer” in the hands of a secular promoter or producer, and fan big buck$$ and the potential for fame in their face, and suddenly you get all kinds of compromises in the name of MINISTRY! When, actually, at the root of it their behavior is the same old evil – the love of money. The 2 G’s (Gold and Glory) are powerful forces for those who are not so tightly committed to God and His Kingdom as they would like us to believe. But we, the church, have the ability to put these imposters out of business. Stop supporting them! By the way, we can use this same tactic to put an end to some of these greedy, compromising preachers we get all excited over. Stop yelling back at them when they preach; stop falling for the sucker lines and giving them money; stop inviting them to our events and paying them big buck$$ just to have a big name to promote; stop going to their conferences! We have created these monsters, and we can get rid of them. But that’s assuming that we still have the will to fight! Or, have we become so luke-warm that we no longer see the harm? After all, we say, they are “reaching” people. God help us!

First I am not surprised but one thing is Mary Mary are not the only ones – they are just the latest ones…plenty of gospel artist are dressing ‘sexy’ and there are plenty who are dressing like thugs….we really have to know the word of the Lord for ourselves and as the Elder/Minister said before – avoid all appearances of evil…whatever the cost…Jesus died on the cross…we have to separate from the world and live holy before Him.

We can separate and still witness – it is what draws people to us as the light of the Lord shines in us. We have to remember that darkness and light can not reign in the same place – so we must make sure we are walking according to His word…if we are walking as we should – then maybe – just maybe we will see less of this – but then again – the word says that this is how things are going to be…we better get in the word my sisters and brothers for ourselves so that we do not fall into the same trap as others do with these kind of things.

By the way – I am a sister who believes in modesty as to me that is what we should be doing…there is nothing wrong with remaining ‘cool’ as the brother said – just be mindful of how you are carrying yourself at the time…some are just walking with lust so no matter what you have on they will see it through lustful eyes…it is all about the light that shines in us that makes the difference – Jesus is that light! AMEN!
