GCMWatch I believe that you have done a great job at answering the questions allaying fears and putting to rest possible rumors before they even start. This ministry is badly needed for those who have suffered abuse and need a place of respite.

Bro Gill, thank you. I appreciate your thoughful critiques. I didnt create RCA in a vacuum. There were several people advising and critiquing as we developed and even before it went live. I’m just the “face” for right now. We plan to announce more people associations soon.

AND…I am very open to suggestions to improve its support content towards families of victims and those who may currently be in a situation and feel trapped.

Because it is a website and not a blog, there will be no comments/exchange, although at some point I may incorporate that aspect. Right now my hands are a little full to attempt to moderate it at that level.

Thank you for answering these questions. My own trepidation
with the site was largely answered by your exchange with
Sis. Thurston. I do wonder, though, whether viewers of ReportCOGICAbuse will have the same ability to leave
comments (like we do here at gmcwatch), and if so whether
such comments will also be vetted before being posted.

I am saddened (as someone else posted) that such a site
is necessary, but you make a persuasive case that it can
be part of a long-overdue ministerial outreach to victims
in the church. And I am particularly grateful for your
commitment to fully present documentation and proof. (I’m downloading Elder Perry’s deposition, for instance.)

May God give you the grace to be both tough and fair in your reporting.
