Gino Jennings [debates] Harry Knox
This was a really interesting exchange (two years old) between Philadelphia religious figure Gino Jennings and the homosexual religious leader Harry Knox, appointed by Obama to serve on his so-called faith based council.
Seems like I have heard that Jennings’ church advocates false doctrine. I did look (cursory) at their beliefs, but nothing jumped out at me. If you know something, speak up in the comments section.

In a nutshell… Jennings is Apostolic (i.e. Oneness) Pentecostal, and thus baptizes in Jesus’ name only, and believes the Baptism of the Holy Ghost is essential to salvation, not optional as many/most other churches believe and teach.
What about their “Oneness” belief in the nature of God (no Trinity)?
I think they are a bit legalistic from some of his preaching but I must say he dealt with this situation very well.
Interesting Videos, I am not sure if Mr. Knox shouldve even been given this platform in the church even if it is refuted.
Its amazing blinded someone can be from the truth of the scripture when they have made up their mind to do what they want to do and be very convincing and compassionate about their “relationship with Christ”.

This man has been given over to a reprobate mind. He believes that he is right and nothing Gino or anyone else says is going to change his mind.

I agree wholeheartedly nan, this Harry Knox fellow is a clear example of the reprobate mind. But it was harry who angered God enough so that He allowed Harry to be afflicted in such a way.
Does the Bible even say that once these men are given over to this mindset that God will allow them to be transformed back into the image He intended (man+woman)? Since it was a condition that the Lord allowed in the first place.
Do all homosexuals have the 2 Peter 2:18 mindset? I have witnessed to homosexuals and seen homosexuals convicted mightily by the Word of God because God softens their heart to receive….Another example would be the homosexuals who contact GCMWatch for help to get out of that lifestyle.
I agree with your commenters that say this Harry Knox has a reprobate mind. Any person professing Christ as their savior WITHOUT any repentance toward what’s plainly shown in scripture as sin, is reprobate – period!
Now I did find some disturbing teachings under Gino Jennings church in that salvation appears to be based upon works and not through God’s grace and our faith in him, and also the requirement of being baptized in the Holy Spirit as an act separate from what we receive upon believing in Christ, and also the necessity of speaking in tongues as proof of this evidence. Typical pentocostal teachings but sadly, just like the Mormon’s whom we can praise for taking a stand against homnosexuality, Gino Jenning’s church is no different. Teachings that will lead one away from Christ and dangerously into legalism.
That’s what I’ve been able to draw from their website so far. I do like the video as Jennings does put emphasis on the Word of God unlike Knox who’s into this “God loves everyone” cry that we hear from so many who want their sin justified.
Really sickening of Obama to have this man Knox HEAD the faith based council. Again showing Obama’s watered down Christianity!
Wow, that was one long conversation. And from the parts I listened to, Jennings holds it down but in some places he’s somewhat off in his logic. Harry Knox is reprobate from the word go.
I have watched pastor Jennings on several occasions and he really knows WHAT HE KNOWS if you know what I mean. It appears he suffers from a spiritual type of tunnel vision, he doesn’t see any other sides to the issue. Mr. Knox didn’t have a chance even if pastor Jennings just stood up there and sang “Twinkle Twinkle little star”. Pastor Jennings church is hard to figure out, it seems Muslim with all the Hijabs on the women and bow ties on the men. I guess he doesn’t have to worry too much about folks cutting up in his church!
