This website is very ridiculous! I am not commenting on this particular post, but the things that I've read and accusations you have made towards others, with no proof whatsoever of what you're printing disgusts me. I'm sure this comment will be removed, considering it's dissent to your context, but to sentence a person without trial is injustice, and I believe that is what you do here, when you project your opinion towards random individuals without any proof of what you're saying.
It's one thing to say that a man is gay when he is very flamboyant, or wearing heels ect.., but to say so because some random individual suggest so is more than ridiculous. Every one says their doing the work of god these days.

While Jesus was having dinner at Levi’s house, many tax collectors and "sinners" were eating with him and his disciples, for there were many who followed him. When the teachers of the law who were Pharisees saw him eating with the "sinners" and tax collectors, they asked his disciples: "Why does he eat with tax collectors and ‘sinners’?"

On hearing this, Jesus said to them, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."

Min. Antwoine Williams said: I don’t assume to know which group is right, for me its not a matter of right or wrong, in the end God will be the final judge.

That's right God is the final judge.

(Amplified Bible)
1 Corinthians 6:9-10Do you not know that the unrighteous and the wrongdoers will not inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived (misled): neither the impure and immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor those who participate in homosexuality,

10Nor cheats (swindlers and thieves), nor greedy graspers, nor drunkards, nor foulmouthed revilers and slanderers, nor extortioners and robbers will inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God.

*Bold emphasis mine.*

MAW, I can only speak for myself. I do not pick and choose scripture. I believe all scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

I will say again, everything in the bible is true, everything in the bible is not truth. One deals with verification, the other with application.

We do know why homosexuality exists. It exists (like all other sin) because man refuses and rejects the good and perfect will of God. It exists because our flesh desires that which opposes the intent and purpose of God.

Finally, the comparisons you list (and others make allusion to) reveal an unwillingness to acknowledge the truth about sexual sins. There has never been any biblical allowance or approval of sexual immorality regardless of the manifestation. The strawman fight with the church will never be resolved because "the church" didnt institute the standards, God did. Whether the church is hypocritical is irrelevant. When we stand in that last day, it will be God ---the one who set the clear standards--- who will pass judgment. Its rather immature to say that God would leave us in the dark about sexual expression, then judge us based on our ignorance.

All I can say to these apostate bishops and prelates and pastors
and pew sitters who refuse to make a stand on the revealed and known word of God!...THE LORD REBUKE YOU.
They are blinded to the Word because they want to be blinded to the Word.
As one apostate stated...this change in policy will help church growth!!
Can you imagine devising plans to accomplish church growth by catering to the homosexual/gay agenda?
When you get those sinners in the church, you are certainly not going to preach a Jesus based gospel!
What you bring them in with...is what is also needed to keep them in.
So, if you are pro homosexual, your preaching and teaching (ha..ha) can not and will not preach Holy Ghost conviction about sin and repentance. Why? Because you did not preach the same to bring them in the church, so why change when they come in?
People of God, apostasy is on the rise and I could weep when the
so called main line churches are not manning the ramparts with
position papers which decry this apostasy and corruption of the Word of God.
The church world is seemingly silent as to what is going on in their so called "sister" denominations.
No one wants to chastize or correct. Everyone wants to play it safe.
The church is going to be the laughingstock of the world since we profess all of this light and truth but are afraid to speak it out when clear cases of sin slaps us in the face.
Talk about being lukewarm and neither hot nor cold! Wow.
The E.C.L.A. is walking hand in hand with a corrupt doctrine and
no one is weeping about it!
The Episcopalian church (not all of it) is flirting with Satanic
danger and no one is sounding the trumpet!
Wake up church in America! Your candlestick is going to be replaced.

I came acrossthis quote a couple of weeks ago on the Defending/Contending blog and I think it speaks to the matter at hand:

The Bible is a difficult book because it came from the infinite to the finite—from the unlimited all powerful God, to limited man. Therefore, you cannot understand the Bible as you could understand the writings of Plato and Socrates. You can study the great philosophers with the natural mind and by diligent application grasp their profound meanings. If the Bible could be understood by natural man, it would be a natural book
And could not be the Word of God.
Since the Bible is from God, and therefore Spiritual, before you can receive it’s teachings, you must be born of the Spirit and filled with the spirit. Always approach the Bible praying that the Spirit will be your teacher and will guide you to a better understanding of His Holy word, or it will remain a difficult, closed book.

Over the years people have asked for more straight forward "plain english" versions of the Bible, because kings english, greek/hebrew words, locations, names, etc...all "too tough" to understand and when they finally got it they still don't like what it says in plain english to and about their carnal man and lives. There is a book Christless Christianity, it begins:
What would things look like if Satan really took control
of a city? ... all of the bars would be closed, pornography banished, and pristine streets would be filled with tidy pedestrians who smiled at each other. There would be no swearing. The children would say, “Yes, sir” and “No, ma’am,” and the churches would be full every Sunday . . . where Christ is not preached.

Most people this sounds like Utopia, but they forget despite living a morally and socially perfect life they would still be doomed because Christ is the only way to eternal life. The only way to know Christ, what he loves, and what he hates-all sin, is to stay in the Bible. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
These "churches" are pushing it out entirely because its not culturally timely? no because their corrupt spirits can not handle the truth of the Bible and Jesus Christ.
