Pastor Foster one of the other arguments gays use to justify their sin is the Biblical passages on slavery and women as supposedly "second class citizens in Biblical times". Since people in the Body of Christ are deceived and don't realize you are a bondservent as Paul would say to Christ, or satan, no exceptions, maybe use some Scripture to refute that silliness?

Praise God for the truth!

"While social justice should be a valid concern of the church, it should never overshadow or circumvent our primary purpose to reconcile lost, sinful souls to God through the preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ."

Totally agree, reading the gospels and the epistles you really cannot see a great focus on dealing with this worlds social ills, though there is an emphasis to take care of the less fortunate believers. I do agree we should do what we can but when we take the focus off of the gospel, compromise will come.

Sin is the problem but many are just focusing on the fruit of the fallen world. Simply put if ALL ministers would preach the word of God and govern the church according to it, this could not happen.

Inclusion is adulterating the word of God and to me is a result of the earthly focus of so called ministers!

I Cor 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

We need not apologize for what is written and nor should we go beyond what is written.

I love that Lafe. I remember my professor in theology school saying that.

Dont go beyond what is written. And as you said, we should never apologize or minimize what God has given us to live by.

The flashpoint of spiritual warfare is His Word.

Good commentary. Right on point. The Body of Christ needs to quit
"apologizing" for what God word states on issues including homosexuality and fight the good fight of faith.
We need not apologize for what is written and nor should we go beyond what is written.
If the gospel is an offense, so be it. That is Word. It will be a stumbling block to many since the Word does not tolerate or
accommodate their position and as such, they will stumble over
inspired God sent word when that word clashes with their cherished beliefs.
God is not in the business of soothing sinners or looking the other way when it comes to his word being honored.
We as Christians should not feel obligated in the least to try to
minimize the impact of the word on people's lives.
Paul, during his Mars Hill statements did not try to please the people or their hostile culture. He stated the word to them and
allowed the Holy Spirit to apply it.
That is still our jobs today. Witnessing is: Going in the power of the Holy Spirit and leaving the results to God.
