Alan Chambers in the lions den?

In December 2011, World Magazine named Exodus International President Alan Chambers “Daniel of the Year”. The magazine said it selects “one Christian from the millions around the world who have put their faith in God and gained the strength to stand up against ungodly trends”.

But the very next month, Chambers was smoozing and giggling at a conference of the “ungodly trends” people. Instead of standing up against them, he looked more at home than he did at an Exodus conference.

At that gay christian conference in Orlando Chambers said that 99.9% percent of the people he’s met have not changed their “sexual orientation” and other garden variety untruths. In the aftermath, the future of Exodus is being questioned.

I am in the process of analyzing this video which is extremely long. I just wish my book was finished being edited and published. While it is being reviewed by two pastors in my denomination I am studying the Emergent Church (EC) and reading the works of its promoters. If you read the works of EC promoters Phyllis Tickle and Peter Rollins you’ll find that The Emergent Church movement is another open-door for bringing Gay and QUeer Theology into the church. The “straight” woman in this video uses SO much Emergent Church jargon it is mind-boggling. I’ve said this before, but what Exodus or any other organization needs is a solid apologetical wing that knows how to discern the origin and fallacy of the theological/philosophical worldviews being promoted in this video.

I think you are referring to Wendy Gritter. She sold out to the devil a couple of years ago and now is peddling the false love and acceptance mantra. Ive said before the gay christian movement and the emergent church groups are two twins from the same evil birthplace. Thats why they can interchange their jargon so easily.

From the video:

Wendy Gritter: “Will there be room in the future for people connected with exodus to be able to openly describe themselves as gay without it being problematic.”

Alan Chambers: “Yeah, there might be people who are already there who do describe themselves that way I don’t know. I don’t think it’s the descriptor or the label that leads to inclusion or exclusion from the ministry of exodus.”
