George Bloomer, JET, heaven and homosexuals

Via EX Times, we learn that Bishop George Bloomer aka “the general of warfare”  is the latest church leader to play footloose with the homosexual in heaven question. The North Carolina based Bloomer was interviewed in the May 3rd edition of JET Magazine and was asked if homosexuals were going to heaven.
In this month’s issue of Jet features an article with Bishop George Bloomer who is the spiritual son of Eddie Long. The name of the article is entitled, “Will Gays go to Heaven?”
He did not give …

Alert: Bishop Michael Pitts and other vipers preparing to strike

This will not be easy on the eyes. But then again, dealing with false teachers is never pleasant.
Bishop Michael Pitts is putting on yet another one of those grand, stratospheric type church conferences which boasts big, money making drawing cards like TD Jakes, Eddie Long and Paula White. (h/t Pulpit Pimps) Pitts is bishop or apostle of the Cornerstone Global Network.
But despite all the religious grandstanding, court records and media reports show Pitts can’t seem to keep his private parts in his pants while he is in public places.

Breaking News
You may be aware by now that the son of Bishop TD Jakes was arrested by Dallas police for indecent exposure. This is sad news for any family. We ask that you pray for this young man that God would free him from whatever drove him to engage in this type of activity publicly.

According to TD Jakes website, he is scheduled to speak at the 101st COGIC convocation. At a reported $50,000 per appearance, he is what you would call a “big ticket item”. Money isnt the issue, COGIC can easily pay Bishop Jakes fifty thousand dollars if it wanted to, but is it worth helping to spread the influence of a man who is in serious dereliction of duty?
Something’s definitely rotten here. Bishop Blake has already made one mega mistake by giving the pulpit over to openly gay cleric Peter Gomes at West Angeles in 2003. He said that he …

Several current reports pertaining to issues GCM Watch has covered before are worth noting briefly.
Although unconfirmed by Church of God in Christ (COGIC) officials, word is out that TD Jakes will be preaching at the organization’s 101st convocation in Memphis. Several sources have said Jakes will speak on Sunday night. More on this as it unfolds.
Disgraced former Azusa founder, Carlton Pearson,  who began preaching a false gospel called inclusion eight years ago, has folded his church into a Unitarian congregation according to the Tulsa World. Pearson’s church, at the height of his Pentecostal popularity, numbered overed …

**Addendum below**
Its a sad and tragic thing that someone who has been proclaimed by the liberal media as the next Billy Graham is actually a false prophet with homosexual issues. The sad part is that deliverance is available to anyone who wants it. The tragic part is the hoax being perpetrated on millions of people in the church by Bishop TD Jakes.
New information alleges that Jakes is not just a false prophet who is repositioning himself as a defender of gay christian theology, but one who has attempted to draw …

According to Soulforce press, he is indeed.
From the Soulforce website:
On Sunday, May 18, lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) families and their allies attended worship and met with staff and families from The Potter’s House, a 35,000-member multiracial, nondenominational mega-church in Dallas, Texas. Lead by Bishop T.D. Jakes, The Potter’s House is nationally recognized for its advocacy on social issues such as domestic violence, poverty, and HIV/AIDS. We commend the staff of The Potter’s House for the gracious manner in which they extended hospitality and respect for our visiting families. …

Internal trouble may be brewing at Higher Ground Always Abounding Assemblies headquartered in Columbus, OH. GCM Watch confirmed today through a confidential source that Detroit Bishop Andrew Merritt has left the denomination over issues uncovered by this blog in August 2007. Merritt had served as the organization’s second assistant (or vice) bishop behind Bishop TD Jakes and presiding bishop Sherman Watkins. Merritt’s name is longer listed on HGAAA’s clergy roster.
GCM Watch reported that a former member of the organization’s episcopacy Bishop Robert Taylor was deeply involved in a religious …

This is a hard one. The Soulforce targeted churches have mostly demonstrated that they are not on par with Biblical truth, so how do you advise a church in this mindset not to talk to snakes, or, uh.. Soulforce? One News Now has a poll I thought was very interesting. Go over and select your answer. If you’d like come back here and tell us why you chose what you chose. The discussion there is fairly shallow in that it is mostly about “showing love”. The question is:
What do you …
