Episcopal Bishop’s Demonic Vision of a New World Religion
The Episcopal Church has a history of heading down the fast road of apostasy. Their acceptance of homosexuality, abortion, witchcraft, and its departure from biblical Christianity has led it into the ecumenical movement of interfaith and the one-world false religious system. Retired Bishop William Swing has a vision of forming a United Nation for Religion which would result in a one world religion.
Who is Bishop William Swing ?
Bishop William Swing is the retired Bishop of the Espicopal Diocese of California. He wasconsecrated as the VII Bishop of California at Grace Cathedral, San Francisco, on September 29, 1979. He was very active in helping people with HIV/AIDS and advocating for the elimination of homelessness in the city of San Francisco. Bishop Swing is best known for being the founder and president of the United Religions Initiative as a model to the United Nations for all religions. Back in 1996 he traveled to China, Japan, South Korea, India, the Middle East, and Europe seeking guidance and commitment from leaders of many of the worlds’ religions. The religous leaders he met with were the Dalai Lama, Mother Teresa, the Shankaracharya of Kanchipuram, Islam’s Grand Mufti of Egypt, and the Archbishop of Canterbury (source).
Swing is a supporter of homosexuality. His former diocese California has a ministry for LGBT’s called Oasis California. This ministry allows the LGBT community to be involved in the Episcopal ministry. In a letter Oasis California 2001 Convention, Bishop Swing states:
“Heterosexuals are a threat to marriage. Homosexual couples are a threat to the traditional institution of family. Homosexuals are kicked out of families and disowned. Then when they form their own families, they are abandoned by the Church. And when they raise their children, society treats them as being scandalously selfish. Nevertheless, we are all going to have to grow up and realize that the institution of family is changing before our eyes. Churches need to have family values — values for the big, emerging family that has redefined itself.”
He also holds a negative view on true Christian believers that uphold their faith. He believes that these Christians are a threat to world peace. Swing is under the influence of the spirit of anti-christ. He opposes the true church of Jesus Christ. Swing is against Judeo-Christian values and preaches and teach a false ecumenical gospel.
What is the United Religions Initiative?
The United Religions Initiative is an interfaith organization that is modeled like the United Nations for religion. It helps end religious - motivated religion and aid in the peace of Earth. In March of 2001, the URI became an official Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) affiliated with the United Nations. Swing’s original vision for the URI began in 1993, when he was invited by the UN to host an interfaith service honoring the 50th anniversary of the signing of the UN Charter (source).
The United Religions Initiative involves the following groups: Christians, Islam, Judaism, Buddhist, Hinduism, Taoism Shamanism, New Age, Mormonism, Wicca, and Witchcraft. All of these religions are united for the sole purpose of bringing a false peace and a false one – world religion.
Interesting enough, one of the key groups that was involved with the early stages of URI, was the Covenant of the Goddess , which is the world largest organization for witches. CoG members helped write the URI charter which states: “We the people of diverse religions, spiritual expressions, and indigenious traditiions throughout the world, hereby establish the United Religions Initiative to promote enduring, daily, interfaith cooperation, to create culture of peace, justice, an healing for the Earth for all living beings (source).” The URI has brought CoG (Neopagans) into the mainstream of the cultures and made it acceptable. Other Neo-Pagan groups that support the URI are as follows: Coven of the Stone and the Mirror, Goddess Holding the World Mural Project, Hippo Haven Wiccan Community, Pagan Educational Network, The Pagan Sanctuary Network, and the SerpentStone Coven in North Carolina(source).
The URI is also supported by Mikhail Gorbachev’s organization, The State of the World Forum, Bishop Desmond Tutu, and New Age Futurist Barbara Marx Hubbard . The URI is supported by a variety of religious and political groups that have the same demonic vision of a one-world religion to bring about false peace.
Bishop Swing Endorses the Occult
One of the top members of the URI global council is Donald Frew. He is the High Priest of Gardenerian coven in Berkley, California, and is the national interfaith representative for the Covenant of the Goddess. Frew discussed interfaith gathering with Bishop Swing in which he states:, “A highlight for me was being asked to perform a traditional Wiccan foundation blessing in closing ceremony…I specially invoke Hekate, and Hermes by name, and Hermes by name, and the [Episcopal] bishop was right there.. raising his arms in invocation with the rest of the Circle! We have come a long way (source).”
This shows that Swing has totally abandond the scriptures and he is embracing the Wiccan foundational blessing. It speaks loudly that he is an apostate and a son of Belial. This isn’t the first time an Episcopal Bishop has dabbled with the occult. Bishop James Pike, during the 1960s after his son James Pike Jr. committed suicide, participated in a live television occultic seance to have medium communicate with his dead son (source). Swing has carried on Pike’s apostate legacy. But Swing has traveled to another level of apostasy with his demonic vision for a one-world church, peace, and the rise of Anti-christ. Without a doubt, he is fulfilling Bible prophecy.
2 Thessalonians 2: 3 says, “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed the son of perdition.”
1 Timothy 4:1 says, “Now The Spirit, speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrine of devils.”

Bishop Gene Robinson speaking death and lies
Gay christian bishop Vickie Gene Robinson speaking the lies of his father and sowing death into the lives of young people confused about their sexuality. The false “it gets better” campaign has done nothing but foment a spirit of death in America. Leave it up to false, self identified religious talking heads like Robinson to do his part in keeping young people in the darkness of sin.
Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them. Eph 5:6-7 KJV

Vickie Gene Robinson’s lies like assisted suicide
Its a struggle to continue to refer to homosexual bishop Vickie Gene Robinson as anything other than demonic, but his own words tell the story of just how his mind —and tongue— have been hijacked by demons. Its rather tragic and sad that they will reward him for his services with death, then join him in hell’s fires. This man’s hands are dripping in blood from his false teachings and opposition to the gospel of truth.
In his Huffington Post column, Robinson wastes no time blaming gay teen suicides on people who say that homosexuality is sin. But then he contradicts himself by pointing out that the recent rash of suicides have occurred in places where those messages are muted if not silent altogether.
“Instead, they are occurring in states perceived to be more liberal on LGBT issues: California, Minnesota, New Jersey, and Rhode Island.”
Yes,it so easy to blame “conservatives and antigay pastors” for such tragic events. So what’s to blame when mislabeled “gay kids” kill themselves over homosexuality issues and there are no boogeymen around? Rutgers is a liberal education and social bastion which has boasted a strong gay student community for the last 30 years. So why did a homosexual student there kill himself with so much affirmation, openly gay cheerleading and “out” role models surrounding him? If we were to use conventional gay logic, homosexuals are to blame for the Rutgers student’s suicide.
With so much madness being foisted upon the contemporary church at the hands of the wicked but active gay christian movement, our thanks go to Apprising Ministries for covering Robinson’s latest slither of the tongue.
The link takes us to the HuffPost piece by Gene Robinson called How Religion Is Killing Our Most Vulnerable Youth. Previously in Actively-Gay “Bishop” Gene Robinson Same-Sex Acts Only Unnatural For Non-Gays I gave you a little biblical perspective, Gene Robinson is the overseer of Episopal churches in New Hamphire, where I was raised and currently reside. I also covered an article called Gene Robinson: Same-sex acts unnatural for heterosexuals, which Christian Today (CT) carried in their World News section; its author Eric Young tells us a bit about this so-called“Bishop” Gene Robinson:
who was married and has two daughters, divorced his wife and is now involved in a homosexual relationship. He currently serves as the ninth bishop of the Diocese of New Hampshire in The Episcopal Church. (Online source)
As I said before, in the real world of the historic orthodox Christian faith, someone who’s unrepentantly “involved in a homosexual relationship” would be disqualified from being in Christian ministry. However, in our our postmodern Wonderland of Humpty Dumpty language today what Gene Robinson dreams actually makes “world news.”
Robinson and many of the advocates of homosexuality are plying young kids with false “it gets better” messages which is no different than pedophiles giving children liquor to prep them for rape. Bishop Jim Swilley used the same excuse to announce his homosexuality to his “church” earlier this week. Homosexuality is but one of the many mines along the road to death, hell and the grave.
Footnote: Jay Bakker is serving as water boy for Robinson now.

How to kill a church, Episcopalian style
Yes, it can be done. The current leadership of the Episcopal Church is readying the coffins for the dead apostasy riddled denomination.
Mark Tooley writes a compelling obituary at The American Spectator entitled, “Killing a Church”. The article is a review of William Murchison’s book on the church. If we learn anything from this massive tragedy, it is that the acceptance of homosexuality means certain spiritual death for your church whether it is local or national. Death is sure to come.
Tooley notes that the while the fatal illness afflicting the denomination grew considerably worse with the “consecration” of its first openly homosexual bishop, it really began with compromises on the authority of the Word of God.
The Episcopal Church’s current crisis technically began with its 2003 election of openly homosexual Bishop Gene Robinson, igniting growing tensions with the nearly 80 million member Anglican Communion, especially its increasingly dominant and conservative African members. But Murchison traces the church’s wrong turn to the 1960s, when Episcopal elites increasingly chose for cultural conformity rather than cultural transformation. Like other Mainline Protestant elites, Episcopalians began to shed “exclusivist” claims about Christianity in favor of pluralism, where every ideology has a voice except for orthodoxy.
Not surprisingly, the rejection of orthodoxy in favor of cultural and political fads, whatever the spiritual consequences, has been disastrous for Episcopalians and all Mainline Protestant denominations, all of which have been losing members since the 1960s, between 25 and 40 percent. Former Presbyterians and Methodists and Lutherans either gave up on organized religion, or they joined evangelical or Catholic churches, or they, more permanently, died (!), leaving few if any descendants, as Mainline Protestants, especially Episcopalians, have notoriously low birth rates. The current Episcopal Presiding Bishop even celebrated this demographic collapse, claiming that Episcopalians were protecting the planet by abstaining from children.
And when apostates arose in the church, instead of putting them down, the church allowed their poisonous voices to exacerbate the infection, thus giving way to full blown apostasy.
Notorious, and highly charismatic, California Episcopal Bishop James Pike, who graced the cover of Time magazine, embodied this new restlessness. At the church’s 1964 General Convention, he bewailed “outdated, incomprehensible, and nonessential doctrinal statements, traditions, and codes,” having seemingly forgotten his own consecration vows to steadfastly resist all “strange and erroneous doctrine.” Pike urged a “theological revolution” to make the Gospel “relevant,” which entailed junking “myths” of past centuries, like the Virgin Birth and the Trinity, which were “unintelligible.” Eventually Pike pushed so hard that heresy charges were formally pressed. But ultimately, the Episcopal Church nervously shrank from ousting Pike for his apostasies. Pike’s unprosecuted rebellion foreshadowed expanded chaos for the church, as it succumbed to the surrounding secular culture’s demand for personal autonomy, accompanied by moral fragmentation.
Although Pike and his supporters strove for a “relevant” church, their influence helped spiral the Episcopal Church from 3.5 million in the 1960s to barely 2 million today, across 4 decades when the U.S. population increased by 50 percent. The embodiment of this decline was Bishop John Shelby Spong of Newark, whose best selling books deriding the Virgin Mary as a possible prostitute and speculating about St. Paul’s sexual preference got him on Phil Donahue. But the years of his progressive leadership, which included the ordination of actively homosexual clergy in defiance of church policy, saw a 40 percent decline of his diocese’s membership. “Why Christianity Must Change or Die,” was the title of one Spong book. But the form of doctrine-less Episcopalianism attracted only white, upper middle class, highly educated suburban liberals, and not very many of them. In recent years, respective Episcopal clergy have professed to be a Druid, a Muslim and a Buddhist. The first two ultimately left the ministry, and the third was denied election as bishop. But who’s to say their bi-faith choices were necessarily wrong?
Today we see the signs of sickness in many US Christian denominations. Their dna is dying because they have cast out the Spirit of Christ and have embraced doctrines of devils. Death is sure to come. Disobedience always brings death.

Gay bishop urges exploration of “other sexualities”
More vomit spewed out of the mouth of the gay christian movement’s hero.
The Episcopal Church’s first homosexual bishop believes its time for everyone to begin accepting different sexual expressions beside just the regular run of the mill “gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender” ones we’ve become accustomed to. The statement made by Vickie Gene Robinson is outrageous in its concept, but thus far his church has been silent. No surprises there but at least the slippery slope they claim does not exist, now has a face.
Robinson made his remarks as he is preparing to enter a more politically charged arena [source]
The Center for American Progress (CAP) said in an announcement that Robinson will focus on issues related to economic justice, immigration, gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) rights, health care, and the environment, among others.
“I think Gene’s qualifications for this role probably approximate his qualifications for the role of prophet, which he has assumed in the Episcopal Church,” said William Murchison, a member of the denomination and author of Mortal Follies: Episcopalians and the Crisis of Mainline Christianity.
“Everything Gene does tends to be conditioned upon his absolute faith that he knows what he is talking about,” Murchison said. “He’s a man of some charm, but if you get beyond these somewhat basic and superficial credentials, I don’t believe there’s a whole lot of ‘there’ there.”
Robinson most recently drew attention from comments made last week at the Spring meeting of the Episcopal Church House of Bishops. Expressing dissatisfaction with two policy papers presented for and against same-sex marriage, Robinson said it was time to move beyond speaking of “GLBT” orientations.
“There are so many other letters in the alphabet,” Robinson said. “There are so many other sexualities to be explored.”
The Bishop did not elaborate as to what other sexualities might be, and to their corresponding letters of the alphabet.
Robinson knows full well what he means by “other sexualities”. A few of them immediately come to mind: pedophilia, beastiality and the deadly sexual practice called erotic asphyxiation, a component of the S&M world. And those are some of the more tamer practices Bishop Robinson is encouraging people to “explore” and experience.

Out of the mouth of liars: Vickie Gene Robinson
Bishop Vickie Gene Robinson, the Episcopal church’s first bishop of abominations quite possibly has lost any resemblance of a person who at some point in his life recognized truth. What’s more disturbing is that the multiple lies he spouts are commonplace teachings among gay christians. How can a person claiming Christ embrace and promote such things? Well, it doesn’t come overnight. It takes an enormous amount of spiritual energy to continually override the truth and embrace a lie. I dont say it often, but the bishop is demon-possessed. I don’t say that to “demonize” him, but because it is a recognition of what is speaking from inside him.
How do you explain the poison dripping from this collar wearing serpent? What about Jesus’s red letter words (for all the Tony Campolo fans):
If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and now am here. I have not come on my own; but he sent me. Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! John 8:42-45 NIV (our bold)
Anyone who engages in this type of systemic lying and rejection of the truth, is not a child of God, but a descendant of the devil. That’s why those in the gay christian movement unless and until they repent and renounce these beliefs cannot even so much as consider them “brothers and sisters in Christ”. They are no more brothers and sisters than the people Jesus was addressing in the above passage.
GCM Watch has covered Robinson’s litany of lies and his vengeful reign as a so-called bishop before, so I wont revisit what’s in the video in detail here. But you can read here, here and here to see biblical responses to the doctrines of devils out of Robinson’s mouth. And as we explained before most of the articulation of contemporary gay christian theology is credited to John Boswell’s book Christianity, Social Tolerance and Homosexuality.
