Warning. Warning. Warning.
The secular media has been anointed to sanctify Tonex and his homosexual mess[age] in the eyes of the people. God wouldnt do it and church folks are still in traction about it, so the New Yorker decided to write a book reality show script about Anthony Williams, Jr. and his misfortunes with homosexuality, the church and his music. The church has its saints and I guess the world has to have theirs too. Even if they have to personally canonize them.
For short review/preview —depending on your familiarity— on …

Edit: This post has been amended due to information that Luckett is a member of Joel Osteen’s church.
A new Christian film star on the horizon? You may want to take a closer look first.
Its truly a tragic thing when we have to alert people in the church about other “church-types” who are working against God’s will to infect the church with their insanity. Enter Matt Crouch, stage left.
The Preacher’s Kid, is the latest religious movie backed by Matt Crouch and his Gener8Xion Entertainment company.
The star of Crouch’s new movie is …

WARNING TO GOSPEL FAN GROUPIES: STRONG LANGUAGE ABOUT YOUR IDOLS FOLLOW
You could have substituted the word porn for gospel and got the same result, but once again the profane nature of the black gospel music industry was in blazing display for all the world to see.
On Jan 10th, for two hours, courtesy of Black Entertainment Television, the show paraded the industry’s well and lesser known homosexuals, adulterers, internet sex freaks, groupies and sexy divas across the screen in an ironic Celebration of Gospel. Homosexuals had a great deal to be …

The Cosmopolitan Church of Prayer in Chicago is hosting lesbian bishop and traveling false prophetess Yvette Flunder for a “gospel music” recording October 26th. If there’s one thing that’s good about the appearances of Yvette Flunder it is that she is helping to identify these closet homosexual churches. That helps people who are sincere about their walk with the Lord to avoid these houses of ill repute like a plague.
The church’s pastor, Charles G. Hayes aka “Father Hayes” has been a fixture in the gospel music industry since the …

The Word Network is arguably the black version of TBN: chocked full of church kooks, false prophets and prosperity pimps. The network is a microcosm, reflecting the current state of the contemporary black church in America. And somewhere, comfortably in the middle of the madness is the Lexi Show.
Like most of the religious talking heads on the gabfest market, the Lexi Show, now in its fourth season, isn’t helping to promote biblical standards on sexuality. Its not exactly tearing them down either, just making them de minimis, of minor …

Two of the gospel music industry’s biggest names have jumped in bed with the gay christian movement and worse via another gospel reality show competition.
The reality show craze has hit the gospel music industry and like a whore after a john with a wad of cash, so far its been a match made in hell. And just like in the secular reality shows, this trend has a sinister and deadly twist.
How Sweet the Sound carries on the new —and lucrative— trend of secular companies providing a competitive …

“All Gospel singers are not Gay as I don’t have a sissy bone in my body.”
That was the response of Pastor Deitrick Haddon, who apparently took exceptional offense at the Lexi/Tonex interview and twittered about it on yesterday.
But, one gospel industry fan blog was quick to call his words “hateful”. Here’s what Gospel Pundit wrote:
Deitrick Haddon typed these words on Twitter today during a rant about the now-infamous interview between Lexi and Tonex, in which Tonex acknowledged his same-sex attractions.
I’m not going to use this post to bash …

Former gospel industry worker Tonex (Anthony Williams) stepped further into his false identity by telling a religious talk show host he –among other things– didn’t “struggle” with his sexual attraction to men.
We’ve covered this here (with Tonex comments) and a eye opening article from his former wife Yvette here. Christocentric who’s engaged Tonex several occasions on her blog also covers with video.
And there’s plenty about his steadily failing nature in blogdom, but I wanted to address several problems with Tonex’s ideology.
I am sad to have to echo Christocentric’s …

It would have been a very nice gesture if J. Moss would have taken responsibility last year when his adultery case was made public by the Detroit News. Moss’ failure to show up for a court ordered hearing jumpstarted the whole affair and pushed it into the public eye.
Attempting to rebound from the scandal, Moss who’s marketing his new album casts blame at bloggers who he alleges printed rumors about him. I dont advocate rumor-mongering, but I also think it would have served Moss much better to be humble …

We reported how Mary, Mary (Tina and Erica Campbell) the, BET-crowned “queens of gospel” agreed to join R and B artist Maxwell for several shows on his BLACK summers night tour. The sisters, members of Evangelistic COGIC in Los Angeles, opened for Maxwell on August 2 in Jacksonville, Florida, and August 3 in Charleston, South Carolina, and again for the final show of their Columbia Records label mate on August 5 in Durham, North Carolina.
But during the New Jersey leg of the show, Maxwell told his male fans, from the …
