I give all praises to God who on April 12, 1990 delivered my soul and my life from the devil who sought to sift me as wheat. Its been 24 years since I left homosexuality to follow Jesus and I don’t regret one single moment of it. The journey thus far has been filled with ups, downs, highs and lows. Ive seen the glory of God and Ive experienced his hand of loving discipline. All that I am and ever hope to be, I owe it all to the One who redeemed me. In case you have never heard my testimony, its still the same. God delivered me, changed me and transformed me. He didn’t change me from a fornicating homosexual to a fornicating heterosexual but from a sinner to a son. He gave me what no man could ever give me: love that would never leave me or forsake me. Im thankful to my wife and my children for loving me and respecting me as I have obeyed God to tell this world that I am free indeed. Thanks to all who helped me grow spiritually by rebuke, discipline, love and giving me opportunity to be a man of God. I pause to give Him glory before I head back into the harvest fields.

Public Statement in support of Evander Holyfield and comments on homosexuality
On January 3, Holyfield became the 12th housemate to enter the 13th series of Celebrity Big Brother UK. Just three days later, Holyfield was “reprimanded” by the show after responding to comments directed to him by fellow contestant Luisa Zissman. Holyfield told Zissman that homosexuality was not normal and could be changed. Using the simple analogy of a doctor fixing a problem, Mr. Holyfield lovingly expressed his belief that the same applied to homosexuality.
“The Bible lets you know there’s wrong there’s right. It don’t make no difference,” “If you’re born and your leg were turned this way, what do you do? You go to a doctor and get it fixed back right. All I’m trying to say, you know handicap people are born, you can’t say because they are born that way you can’t fix them. It is a choice. C’mon, how can you not say you ain’t gay unless you sleeping with the opposite sex?”
“Evander hasn’t lived a perfect life and we all know that”, said Pastor DL Foster, Founder and President of the ON, “but you don’t have to be perfect to tell the truth.”
100% of scriptures that mention homosexual behavior, brand it as sinful and outside of the will of God. Change and transformation from homosexuality is a foundational truth of the gospel. The bible teaches that every person who comes to Christ by faith receives the hope and promise of new life.
Change and transformation is enshrined even in the music of the gospel. Evander grew up in churches hearing songs like “Jesus will fix it for you, for he knows just what to do. Whenever you pray, just let him have him have his way. Let Jesus fix it for you.”
In the minds of those who reject the truth of scripture, such a concept seems offensive. But the Overcomers Network is made up of many members who have experienced the exact change Christ promises. In that, the ON is thankful for Evander’s comments because despite the mockery, truth always prevails.
“Mr. Holyfield is still the real deal in our eyes. True to form, he delivered a decisive knock out blow to one of the most deceptive falsehoods in our world today.”, said Pastor Foster.

Fourth in a series of articles during EXhomosexual awareness month highlighting the continued challenges faced by EXGLBT Americans.
White homosexual activists who profit off the false “no change” doctrine of the American Psychological Association, hate and despise me and the work of liberation I do. This poster is a replica of the original wanted poster for Ms Harriet Tubman, the famous black American abolitionist. The wording is almost exact to prove a point that helping people escape any form of slavery, will evoke strong hate and reaction from slave owners, whether presumed or real. I’ve been writing to show some of the parallels between America’s proslavery antagonists and the new gay rights movement.
The good thing is that now we know the face of the real enemy of freedom. Their insatiable thirst to uphold their shallow lie pushes them to strike out myself and other EXGLBT Americans and our message.
Brian Tashman, a sycophant for the proslavery group RightWingWatch is making sure the massahs and slave catchers are being kept abreast of my writings. Tashman is acting like those who, using the power of the Fugitive Slave Law of 1850, released posters and fliers to aid the slave catchers in their apprehension of runaway slaves. In fact, the Fugitive Slave Law stated that every citizen was responsible for helping to recover and return fugitive slaves; so any white person from the North or South could be, and was expected to be, a fugitive slave catcher. So no doubt Brian Tashman feels a certain sense of importance by “exposing” my work of helping homosexuals change and celebrating those who have. RWW, the SPLC and HRC most likely already feel the threat and thus feel compelled to alert others that we are helping homosexuals escape their psychological plantations by empowering them with spiritual truth.
Just like Jesus, we come bearing a message of freedom.
The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,
to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God,
Try as they may with unjust laws and devious lies, THIS message cannot be stopped because deep down inside people yearn to be free from that which enslaves them. Jesus said “Everyone who sins, is a slave to sin”. Freedom from sin is a right and a promise given to all who accept the sacrifice of Jesus’ shed blood. As a sin, homosexuality renders its victims powerless to think in the realm of what man (the APA and its affliate social institutions) claims is impossible. Yet, GOD declares that through his power, nothing shall be impossible. Nothing. Homosexuals yearn to hear that they can be free. But their self appointed masters in the media, political world and the homosexual activist community continually feed them the slop of the “no change possible” message.
If you want to join me and help homosexuals escape their bondage and find safety, security and freedom in the arms of Christ, the Liberator contact me immediately! Your obedience to God’s call means that together we can on earth, mirror the will of God in heaven.
The Atlanta based Overcomers Network says Exodus International shut down is tragic but the message of freedom from homosexuality is alive and well. The group plans a “prayer and witness” response.
Orlando,FL June 21, 2013 – The Executive Staff and Officers of the Overcomers Network (ON) join the Christian community in acknowledging the decision to shut down Exodus International – the oldest and largest Christian ministry dealing with faith and homosexuality. We grieve with those leaders and members of this organization that may have been adversely affected by this decision, and stand in faith that God’s ultimate plan will be manifested in their lives. However, even as we acknowledge the impact of this decision – we are confident that the ministry to those desiring to leave the homosexual lifestyle and pursue God’s divine plan for their lives will continue to move forward through the work of ministries, Christian leaders, and organizations such as – The Overcomers Network.
Pastor DL Foster, founder and Senior Director of the ON, reflected on his experience with Exodus: “When I first discovered them in 1997, I’d just narrowly missed the conference in Boston. My next year was filled with excitement as I prepared to go to Seattle and connect with hundreds of people just like myself who had left homosexuality to follow Jesus. My wife and I had an incredible time and knowing that there was so many others like me became a hallmark of continuity in my life. And while the season of Exodus the organization has come to an end, the exodus from homosexuality continues unabated. That’s why the Overcomers Network stands now as a new vanguard of the truth that freedom from homosexuality is not just a possibility, its a reality.”
The ON understands that this may be a confusing time for some, which is why we feel the best thing we can all do during this season of transition is to seek the face of God. Our response is to pray and witness, following the call of Jesus in Acts 1:8.
We’re excited to announce that we will be hosting the “Chainbreakers Clarion Call to Prayer” via teleconference from Monday June 24th – Wednesday June 26th. This prayer assembly will take place each evening at 9pm EST. The prayer will be led by seasoned ministers from around the country and hear the testimonies of individuals who have experienced the power of God’s deliverance from sexual perversion. Those desiring to connect with us during these calls are welcomed do so by simply dialing in to : (832) 551-5900, PIN: 118597. We are expecting God to break chains and bring hope, healing, deliverance, and guidance in the midst of this spiritual transition.
