Bishop Vickie Gene Robinson, the Episcopal church’s first bishop of abominations quite possibly has lost any resemblance of a person who at some point in his life recognized truth. What’s more disturbing is that the multiple lies he spouts are commonplace teachings among gay christians. How can a person claiming Christ embrace and promote such things? Well, it doesn’t come overnight. It takes an enormous amount of spiritual energy to continually override the truth and embrace a lie. I dont say it often, but the bishop is demon-possessed. I don’t …

For a man who claims to be such a deep thinking progressive on Christian matters, Tony Compolo’s defense of homosexuality is just plain silly. The almost 4 minute video is chocked full of sillyisms Compolo has picked up from the gay christian movement and in the perfect cookie cut mold of the gcm, its utterly devoid of any rational thinking, spiritual maturity or sound biblical exegesis.
Compolo calls himself the “positive prophet of red letter Christianity”. Is that red as in cherry picking red? Maybe that’s his first major error. His …

PART TWO OF TWO POSTS
One of the rather unfortunate side effects of false teachings is there is always someone vulnerable enough to become ensnared by it. Some souls are truly ensnared; meaning they stepped into the clutches of a false teacher unawares. Others, link up with false religious movements out of a desire to scratch the itch of their ears for something other than what God has said. While some false teachings with a Christian facade have waned, others are going strong. Meanwhile, others are constantly attempting to reinvent themselves …

This is such a powerful study guide/questionnaire to help you learn the truth about false teachers. There’s no denying we are contending with an abundance of them today. They are primarily attracted to the church by money, power, fame, prestige and control. Although such things lure them in, they are kept in power by self imposed ignorance (Hosea 4:6), passivity and biblical illiteracy. Some false teachers carefully cultivate public images as teachers of righteousness, yet their personal lives are filled with sexual immorality, lies and manipulation of God’s people. Again …

Imagine that. A Christian minister who doesn’t recommend Jesus Christ. It should come as no surprise the clerics supporting the gay christian movement are spiritual benedict arnolds. And that’s being charitable.
Before we get to the story at Eternity Matters, let’s review what we’re dealing with here.
Watch out for false prophets for they come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves Mt 7:15
But there are also false prophets among the people, even as there are false teachers among you who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even …

Ole bulletproof is at it again, this time via Religion Dispatches lambasting the founders of TripleXChurch for trying to help homosexuals and sex industry workers (prostitutes et al).
Although Candace Chellew claims to be a gay christian, a Rwandan elephant might be a better representation. We’ve talked about her sophistic butchery of scripture here and here before. Now she’s protesting gays at parades being treated with love. She’s found incontrovertible evidence of a conservative Christian conspiracy to convert gays from their true orientation with a sinister bait and switch tactic using …

If homosexuality is biblically an abomination, wouldn’t that make homosexual marriage an abomination also?
Unless God has deleted over 25 passages of scripture which condemn homosexual relationships in every context, it is.
But dont tell that to the Revs Dennis and Christine Wiley in Washington DC who called the homosexual marriages they officiated over at their Covenant Baptist Church “beautiful”. GCM Watch profiled these two pulpit pimps in June last year, now they’re back in the news. Unless Congress vetoes the vote of the DC city council, the nation’s capital is next …

African American, Carlton Pearson, Featured, Videos, false teachers, heresies, pastors and clergy, religion »
For the second time, Lexi’s religious oriented show on the Word Network has featured the false prophet Carlton Pearson along with other ministers who were supposed to be strong enough to refute his heresies. The first group failed miserably as Pearson easily danced around them with his storied glib of tongue. It was a disaster. The preachers were like little puppies waiting for some kibbles and bits from Pearson’s hands.
After multiple complaints, Lexi decided to assemble a second team comprised of George Bloomer, Jamal Bryant and Dr. Van Gayton of …

The increasingly frightening story of Bishop Brian Tamaki of Auckland New Zealand who’s the “spiritual son” of Eddie Long of Atlanta. Another sign pointing towards the return of the Lord.
PJ Miller has an excellent run down on his post Destiny Church, A cult in the making.
Religion News blog also covers how Tamaki’s service where 700 men in the church swore allegiance to him and are now wearing covenant rings as a symbol of their “irrevocable, undissolvable oath of commitment” to him.
RNB reported last December the cult-like church announced plans to …
