Imposters: gay christians and the family of God
After attending a controversial gay christian event in Orlando last year, Exodus International President Alan Chambers made fatally flawed, quasi theological sounding statements proclaiming attendees as “brothers and sisters in Christ”. See here and here.
And earlier this month in western Michigan, via billboards campaign, gay christians launched a propaganda campaign aimed at reinforcing the gay christian fallacy.
But are self-identified homosexual christians included in the family of God? Those who have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb? Those who have left their past life of sin to embrace a new life as new creations in Christ? Those who no longer live according to the deeds of the flesh but walk in the Spirit? As clear as the bible is on what constitutes a new creation in Christ, there is growing deception—and confusion– among religious adherents who self identify as Christians
Prevailing Word Ministries addresses this growing apostasy in a blog post “Are LGBT [lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender] people our brothers and sisters in Christ”?
It is extremely offensive to God and genuine children of God for LGBT to assume an identity that is exclusive of true born again believers.
A bird is a bird. A raven is a raven. An eagle is an eagle. A cat is a cat. A lion is a lion. A wolf is a wolf. A dog is a dog. A snake is a snake. A horse is a horse, of course, of course.
A believer is a believer. A sinner is a sinner.
Just as it is impossible for an animal to impersonate or assume an identity of another animal, the same is said of those that try so desperately to be like a believer but never become one.
Here is what the Lord Jesus said in Matthew 7:21-23,“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven. but he that does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name? ’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
True believers depart from iniquity. True sinners practice lawlessness.
True believers submit to the Lordship and Sovereignty of Jesus.
nstead of simply coming to the Lamb of God in true repentance, they bring “fruit” to offer before God. This “fruit” is the attitude that says to God, ‘This is what I am giving You and You are going to accept it. That’s the way it’s going to be. Take it or leave it.”
Then, there are those LGBT sinners that play like God accepted homosexuality as not a sin, and pretend that it’s all good. Knowing full well that the Bible says otherwise.
Then they take it a step further.
The build churches around LGBT issues and label the true church of Jesus Christ as intolerant, unloving, out of step with the times, and completely irrelevant. Building homosexual churches and calling themselves “gay Christians” is “Wheat and Tares” according to Matthew 13:24-30.
“Gay christianity” is nothing more than a warmed over heresy. Its pernicious impact has negatively colored the modern church while off setting the church’s God image and evangelistic mandate.
Those who practice sin are not brothers in the Lord. Only those who have confessed and forsaken their sins and by faith accepted Jesus Christ as savior are in the family of God. The sleight of hand trick played by gay christians utilizes religious semantics by redefining what sin is, who Christ is, what repentance is, what the bible is and what sexual immorality is. Everything is redefined for self serving purposes. Its fundamental biblical understanding that we adjust to the truth of the scripture, not readjust the scriptures to fit our prearranged views.

God vs gay pride
From Isaiah 9:9-11 NIV
The look on their faces testifies against them;
they parade their sin like Sodom; they do not hide it.
Woe to them! They have brought disaster upon themselves.
10 Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds.
11 Woe to the wicked!
Disaster is upon them! They will be paid back for what their hands have done
Homosexuals have made open, gloating pride their signature identifier. Year after year, whole cities and nations are swallowed alive in this grotesque physical and spiritual abomination declaring before God that they are not ashamed of their wickedness. Even the religious homosexuals have joined in these death marches while encouraging others to rebel against God.
God also spoke through Ezekiel (chapter 49), yoking sodom and its pride to inevitable destruction.
“Behold, this was the guilt of your sister Sodom: she and her daughters had pride, excess of food, and prosperous ease, but did not aid the poor and needy. 50 They were haughty and did an abomination before me. So I removed them, when I saw it.”
The indictment on Sodom was actually tucked into a white hot denouncement of Isreal his chosen people because he said they had taken the sins of the wicked sodomites and had been even more perverted.
Thus those in the church who are claiming to be followers of Christ but engaging in even more egregious wickedness than those who are sinners, know that you will not escape God’s judgment. He will deal with you first.
So the warning is coming yet again. God has spoken and made plain his intent to bring destruction on the wicked and the proud. Whether you believe it or not is irrelevant. To the righteous, if you are, leave now. Like the angels told Lot and his family get out and do not look back.
Despite the warnings, irrefutable history and archaeological evidence, the homosexual community (both political and religious), under deep spiritual blindness and delusion because of their rejection of the truth, continue to mock with vile and profane words the goodness and sovereign power of the Living God.
Pastor Scott Lively: homosexuality a “global threat” [UPDATED]
We couldnt agree more. Sobering, enlightening and true. Take time to watch this very important video and get educated on what we have been saying for almost five years. Homosexuality is satan’s weapon of choice against the true church.
Of special note: Very few if any prominent voices (including religious leaders of all denominations) are calling homosexuality a sin without retractions, etc. Most have adopted safe language by saying “marriage is between a man and a woman”. That’s a clear indication that the contemporary church and political leadership have lost the vision for truth and cannot be depended on to stand up for righteousness.

Homosexual activists no doubt were behind the bogus Youtube “hate speech” accusation which removed Pastor Scott Lively’s phenomenal video teaching “The global threat of homosexuality”, but for those who have not seen it, fear not.
You can view the entire video here. The Lord would not have us ignorant of the devil’s tactics. May your eyes be opened to the schemes and plots of the enemy against God’s people.
The battle against homosexuality: power strategies
There are very few leadership voices telling the contemporary church what the Spirit is saying in response to the growing threat posed by homosexuality. Most religious leaders are more concerned (out of fear) for their name, image and assets than boldly proclaiming the God’s truth. A continuous diet of pomp and circumstance, programs and celebrations of every diversity had produced a glut of spiritually fat, lazy undiscerning church goers. Compromise, back room deals and secret sins have severely weakened the moral authority of the contemporary church. It is in no position to call out the sins of the unbelieving world or call them to repentance.
These and more factors have converged to create a perfect storm of wickedness. It ferociously rains contempt and disdain for the ways of God. Consequently, the homosexual movement’s rage, hostility and murderous spirit is not only being stroked by a lawless government, but encouraged by the false church. And not only the homosexual movement, but sensing momentum, other God haters have climbed out of their holes to express their rage at the Holy One. Fingertip media with its new expansive social platforms, has amplified the voice of a small minority giving it the appearance of being substantially greater than it actually is. If you are in tune spiritually, you can hear the sounds of approaching war all over. As it is in the natural, so it is in the spiritual.
That being said, God still has a remnant and a reserve, some of whom he has yet to bring forth. Until that time we should be in tune to the prophets and true leaders he has in place to speak to his people. Like Isreal we ought to look to those with the “Issachaar” spirit. Those who understand the times and know what the church should do. Those that have an ear to hear what the spirit is saying NOW will listen. Those who don’t, will ignore it or despise it.
If you are listening, hear what the Dr. Albert Mohler is saying. Mohler is president and professor of Christian theology at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky has been a consistent standout voice on the issue of homosexual aggression and the contemporary church. Like a battlefield commander, Mohler sees the threat for what it is and gives the type of instruction that will empower the true church.
His commentary in the April issue of TableTalk Magazine is frank, sobering and yet deeply encouraging.
“In less than a generation, homosexuality has gone from being almost universally condemned to being almost fully normalized in the larger society.
We are facing a true moral inversion — a system of moral understandings turned upside down. Where homosexuality was even recently condemned by the society, now it is considered a sin to believe that homosexuality is wrong in any way. A new sexual morality has replaced the old, and those who hold to the old morality are considered morally deficient. The new moral authorities have one central demand for the church: get with the new program.
This puts the true church, committed to the authority of God’s Word, in a very difficult cultural position. Put simply, we cannot join the larger culture in normalizing homosexuality and restructuring society to match this new morality. Recognizing same-sex unions and legalizing same-sex marriage is central to this project.”
Dr. Mohler is right. Once the last significant law against homosexuality fell in June 2003 and the gates to our nation’s moral sanity was breached, there was no turning back. At fault: the carnal, image obsessed church (reference Rev 3:14-22, Mt 5:13). Still its no secret to students of the bible that the antichrist will draw power from first dismantling laws which restrict perversion. We see that already in progress. In tandem, the “lawless one” will then replace them with laws which criminalize opposition to what has been dismantled. As Dr. Mohler stated its part of the “moral inversion” we are currently experiencing. Good is now being called evil and evil is being declared as good (Is 5:20).
So the pressure is on, just like it was for the early church. That’s why all of the early church leaders took time to write under the inspiration of the Holy Ghost to be “sober and vigilant”. Jude charged us to “earnestly contend for the faith that was once delivered to the saints”. We are told to stay prepared for war by putting on the entire armor of God. Why? Because the face of God’s enemy is becoming more defined each day that we live. Eventually, the partially concealed outlines of its face will give way and we will see in full measure what we are up against. We are like Lot in the new Sodom and the wicked spirit that animated the men of Sodom is alive and enraged at the righteous who block its access to power.
Knowing this, what is it that the church must do. Corporately this may not be a feasible question, so what should YOU do? Dr. Mohler responds:
“First, we must stand without compromise on the authority of the Bible and the principles of sexual conduct and morality that God has revealed so clearly in His Word.
Second, we must realize what is at stake. Marriage is first and foremost a public institution. It has always been so. Throughout history, societies have granted special recognition and privileges to marriage because it is the central organizing institution of human culture. But marriage has also performed another crucial function — it has regulated morality.
This is why the challenge of samesex unions is so urgent and important. Redefining marriage is never simply about marriage. It leads to the redefinition of reproduction and parenthood, produces a legal revolution with vast consequences, replaces an old social order with something completely new, and forces the adoption of a new morality. This last point is especially important. Marriage teaches morality by its very centrality to the culture. With a new concept of marriage comes a new morality, enforced by incredible social pressure and, eventually, legal threats.
Third, we must act quickly to teach Christians the truth about marriage and God’s plan for sexuality in all its fullness and beauty. We must develop pastoral approaches that are faithful to Scripture and arm this generation of believers to withstand the cultural pressure and respond in ways that are truly Christian.
Last, and most important, this challenge must drive us to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Christians must be the first to understand this challenge in light of the gospel. After all, we know spiritual rebellion when we see it, for we ourselves were rebels before God’s grace conquered us. We know what moral confusion means because without the light of God’s Word, we are just as confused.”
I believe that God will allow this wickedness to crest, producing a hailstorm of persecution for his true church. But we are encouraged to stand fast and endure. Because we know our God, we can be strong and do exploits during the coming dark days (ref Daniel 11:32b). Thus, we should redouble our efforts to preach in season and out of season. God has not called us to eradicate wickedness, but to fight to restrain and restrict it through the power of the Holy Spirit until he returns.
GCMW renews our call to be uncompromising, steadfast conduits of God’s truth. That should be our mandate until we arrive at our Father’s house.
Philip Yancey, the Christian mysticist
Against the backdrop of an epic failure by formerly mainline denominations to uphold biblical standards of sexual morality, a new religious iconography has arisen. Its the profile of the Christian mysticist, tailor made by satan for the homosexual religious movement.
Ken Silva at Apprising Ministries writes, “I remind you again that there is indeed a same-sex storm gathering hurricane force, which is right now, looming only slightly off the horizon of the mainstream evangelical community. Once again, I point out the reason why I believe the Lord moved me to begin covering the issue of a growing acceptance within evangelicalism that the deviant and sinful lifestyle of having sexual relations with another of the same sex, i.e homosexuality, is a viable one for the regenerated Christian. I’m using the issue of homosexuality as a flare to light up the sky with the Word of God in order to give you a chance to see the wide, and very rapid, advance of the pro-gay agenda of the EC [emergent church] within mainstream of the visible church.
I’ve also told you before that a primary goal of the EC, right from its evil inception has been to introduce the Counter Reformation spirituality of CSM; this is easily demonstrated as I showed you in The Emerging Church And The New Progressive Theology On Christ. There I informed you Living Spiritual Teacher and EC guru Brian McLaren wanted us to know that Richard Foster and Dallas Willard “with their emphasis on spiritual disciplines,” i.e. CSM, were “key mentors of the emerging church” as cited below from the 2004 article “The Emergent Mystique” in Christianity Today:

AM has the complete documentation of Christianity Today head editor Philip Yancey crossing over to the land of false teaching by embracing and promoting gay religious culture. Actually the homosexual religious world is where false teachers like Yancey must go for validation. False calleth unto false to paraphrase a verse from the Psalms.
“Do I believe that gay people can be committed Christians? Absolutely. I know far too many of them to doubt that. I also believe that alcoholics and prideful hypocrites can be committed Christians. In short, sinners can, and I’ve stepped back from ranking other people’s sins. I’ve attended a few gay and lesbian churches, and it saddens me that the evangelical church by and large finds no place for homosexuals. I’ve met wonderful, committed Christians who attend Metropolitan Community Churches, and I wish that the larger church had the benefit of their faith. At the same time, I think it’s unhealthy to have an entire denomination formed around this one particular issue—those people need exposure to and inclusion in the wider Body of Christ.”
By endorsing the Metropolitan Community Cult, Yancey has cosigned this bizarre organization’s bizarre leadership.
As we have reported on this blog numerous times, the MCC can hardly be classified as a Christian church. Its leader is perched atop a cesspool of abominations. The Dallas Observer found out that the denomination’s “code of conduct” for its clergy was “disarmingly simple and deliberately open to interpretation”. In short, there exists is no moral expectation (in the conventional sense) from individuals who are publicly sanctioned by the MCC. Its clergy leaders have openly talked about masturbating to images of Christ, invited people to deface the bible, allows members to make belief in Jesus optional, portray Jesus in books as a sexually promiscuous homosexual, and purchased a $55,000 ventriloquist version of Jesus to help spread their lies and denied the divinity of Christ. The latter alone the bible calls antichrist (1 John 4).
The tragic superficiality of the gay lifestyle
A fascinating and surprising story published in the New York Times, laying bare what many homosexual activists will never admit publicly. It reports the real life tragedy of a typical homosexual man who sees and lives life based on the superficiality of homosexuality. How you look, what you wear and your “positive” attitude about yourself as a homosexual was the false recipe he sold to countless other gay men, but somehow knew that it wasn’t the truth.
On Jan 1st, Bob Bergeron, a quintessentially positive gay man, committed suicide. He left his friends, past sex partners and acquaintances wondering why. But they are blind to the real issue. The obsession with youth, beauty and sex is a killer. In a suicide note, he summed up the homosexual lifestyle in a single damning sentence:
“It’s a lie based on bad information.”, he wrote. Ironically, the New York Times posted the article “The life and death of Bob Bergeron” in the “fashion and style” section [full story here].
BOB BERGERON was so relentlessly cheery that people sometimes found it off-putting. If you ran into him at the David Barton Gym on West 23rd Street, where he worked out nearly ever morning at 7, and you complained about the rain, he would smile and say you’d be better off focusing on a problem you could fix.
That’s how Mr. Bergeron was as a therapist as well, always upbeat, somewhat less focused on getting to the root of his clients’ feelings than altering behavior patterns that were detrimental to them: therapy from the outside-in.
Over the last decade, he built a thriving private practice, treating well-to-do gay men for everything from anxiety to coping with H.I.V. Mr. Bergeron had also begun work as a motivational speaker, giving talks at gay and lesbian centers in Los Angeles and Chicago. In February, Magnus Books, a publisher specializing in gay literature, was scheduled to print a self-help guide he had written, “The Right Side of Forty: The Complete Guide to Happiness for Gay Men at Midlife and Beyond.”
“I’ve got a concise picture of what being over 40 is about and it’s a great perspective filled with happiness, feeling sexy, possessing comfort relating to other men and taking good care of ourselves,” Mr. Bergeron said on his Web site. “This picture will get you results that flourish long-term.”
But right around New Year’s Eve, something went horribly wrong. On Jan. 5, Mr. Bergeron was found dead in his apartment, the result of a suicide that has left his family, his friends and his clients shocked and heartbroken as they attempt to figure out how he could have been so helpful to others and so unable to find help himself.
Bergeron had everything right. All the right answers. Or so he thought. But sadly, he realized his life was built on a lie. Homosexual culture is all about the outward appearance and sexual lust. Many of them are deathly afraid because they know that once you lose your youthful look, you will become the dirty old hunter instead of the desirable young hunted.
“Bob was a very beautiful younger man, and we talked a lot about how that shapes and creates a life. The thesis of his book is based very much on his own personal experience with that. And the book also emphasized what to do when you’re not attractive or you no longer have the appeal you once had. The idea was to transcend that and expand your sexual possibilities.”
The scriptures do not lie.
Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen. 26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts.
Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error. 28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. Romans 1
Living a photoshopped lie
Instead of embracing God’s truth and finding life like these men and women, gay activists and their allies continue fighting the truth about homosexuality in order to maintain a fatally flawed charade of happiness, success, equality, superiority and normalcy. The media aids the lie by publishing a glut of pictures depicting only happy, smiling, healthy homosexuals.
They rush like wild animals to beat down anyone who dares tell the truth. Even if its one of their own. They’ve even enlisted a social prostitute to help them fight the truth that somehow just keeps breaking through, no matter what they do to suppress it. But deep down inside, like Bergeron, they know they are living lies that will come to no good end.
The insatiable lust for something new is part and parcel of the homosexual lifestyle. The harsh reality of it all crept up on Bergeron after he finished writing his how to be gay and happy book. In fact, the gay literature market is glutted with how to be a happy, well adjusted homosexual self help books. The desparation to be one is palpable. These books are a dime a dozen that’s why the publisher would only give Bergeron few thousand dollars for his.
AS the New Year approached, Mr. Bergeron seemed to grow more anxious.
With the book about to be printed, Mr. Bergeron became convinced that he’d written too much about the shame and isolation involved with hooking up online; that people weren’t even really doing that anymore, now that phone apps like Grindr and Scruff had come along. His book, he felt, had become antiquated before it even came out.
Its tragic that Bergeron was lied to, spread the lie and became a victim of the lie. It doesnt get better without Jesus Christ changing your life. Humanism and self help are powerless against the deteriorating effects of sin.
