SOTUS sends signal to military chaplains

You know who Im referring to. Obama wants open homosexuality in the military via the repeal of Dont Ask Dont Tell. Maybe he thinks its good for the economy.  Desperate to give homosexuals a reason to vote for him again in 2012, Obama has discovered a coup de etat he can hand the activists.  With this nation in severe financial trouble, the SOTUS (savior of the US)  finds time to push for open homosexuality among our nation’s servicemen and women. The fallout has already begun with a sharp signal sent …

Duel of the Declarations

LOL. Sorry, I couldn’t be more mature about this. The Affirmation Declaration (hereafter known as TAD) is intended to be a rebuttal to The Manhattan Declaration (hereafter known as MAD*). It reminds me of the answer songs of the eighties. Remember Club Nouveau’s “Jealousy” was recorded as a answer to Timex Social Club’s “Rumors”?
With the growing notoriety and support for the Manhattan Declaration, our Affirmation Declaration reflects an urgent need to respond to the portion of the Manhattan Declaration dealing with issues related to sexual orientation—specifically, homosexuality and same-sex marriage. …

More evidence that the homosexual christian movement is bought,  paid for and pimped by the homosexual political movement aka Human Rights Campaign.  What an ironic display of ignorance. A gaggle of religious clerics, claiming to represent God, congratulate themselves at Asbury United Methodist Church, Washington, D.C on excluding God’s definition of marriage.

The purpose of the “Soulful Voices for Marriage Equality: A Faith Celebration” according to the organizers was so “people of faith came together to celebrate, praise, bless and lift up ALL our relationships.”
They have no need for God to …

Obama blesses Sodom

The Teleprompter-in-Chief (the man in diapers running the country) has pronounced the blessing of God upon Sodom and its vile practices.
This is nauseating, but don’t be surprised.
Two bloggers cover it better than we could:
LaShawn Barber’s Corner “Obama says God bless Sodom”
“Christian” Barack Obama believes the Christian worldview is inferior to the worldview he espoused in his recent Human Rights Campaign speech. The whole thing smells really bad…”
Dunamis Word Blog “Hate Crimes” Legislation, Presidential Approval Of The Gay Agenda
“In one of the most shocking parts of the President’s speech he single …

Black prolife pastors oppose Blake endorsement

Leaders of several African American prolife organizations have  issued a strongly worded statement opposing COGIC  Bishop Charles Blake’s endorsement of  the Obama healthcare agenda. We reported earlier that the Blake endorsement came just a month after Obama’s personal teleconference with over 400 leaders of the religious left where he accused the opposition of  “bearing false witness”.
But leaders from the National Black Pro Life Congress, L.E.A.R.N Inc. (Life Education and Resource Network),  the Network of Politically Active Christians said in a Monday press releases they were “outraged” at Bishop Blake’s support …

Obama puts on fake savior-in-chief face to reel in church support

Interesting. Ironic. Bizarre.
That’s how I would describe the following story by the LA Times.  Its about Bishop Charles Blake who comes out carrying the torch for Obama’s controversial health care plan.
Legislation proposed by House Democrats would require public healthcare money to be segregated into separate accounts so that only private funds could be used for abortions. Conservatives call that an “accounting scheme.”
The black leaders are expected to use careful language — echoing Obama’s abortion funding pledge while cautioning the White House against breaking its promise.
“In accord with our commitment to …

Gay clergy serving as pack mules for the gay political movement

Personally, I believe the entire gay christian movement is about as legitimate as a nazi christian movement but that’s another post for another time.
But here is more proof gay christian clerics are nothing more than pack mules for the gay political movement. Perhaps in total, that is their chief purpose: abetting the homosexual political movement’s church domination fantasy. [source]

Human Rights Campaign (HRC) President Joe Solmonese called clergy a powerful new lobbying force for the gay and lesbian community.
In an interview with Dan Gilgoff, religious correspondent for U.S. …

One of the more salient excuses used by those who refuse to speak out against govermental backing of life-devaluing activities like homosexuality and abortion is “we cant legislate morality”. Thankfully our brother on the front lines in Brazil, Evangelist Julio Severo takes it to task.
YMAM Brazil (Youth with A Mission) director Bráulia Ribeiro: “It is not our role to legislate morality”.
Julio Severo: “It is not our role to legislate morality”. This is, Christians should just stay passive while the wicked legislate every kind of immorality. You can hardly hear Satan …

Surveying COGIC’s justice system

Part two of a special GCM Watch report on clergy sexual crimes in the Church of God in Christ. Read part 1. Also see our new archive of clergy sexual abuse articles.
Is COGIC justice blind or biased? Many a member has found out (unfortunately too late) that seeking justice within the framework of the nation’s largest pentecostal denomination is not unlike being a blind man in a maze.
The Church of God in Christ apparently has it down on paper —and it looks good— but the denomination’s leaders often fail to …

The passive church redux

Leon J. Podles holds a Ph.D. in English from the University of Virginia and  is the author of The Church Impotent: The Feminization of Christianity and the forthcoming License to Sin.
In his just released article “Unhappy fault: on the integration of anger into the virtous life”, which appeared in Touchstone Magazine, Dr. Podles writes a rather stunning analysis of the contemporary Christian church and its failure (or fear) to properly employ Godly anger to effect change. In particular, on destructive moral issues of sexual immorality and sexual crimes by clergy, …
