Black Christian News is on it.

Via ExTimes, we learn that the site has issued a challenge to the nation’s prominent mega pastors to openly repudiate the Barack Obama’s “two fathers” lie issued on Fathers Day.

Here’s what the savior of the US (SOTUS) said:
“Nurturing families come in many forms, and children may be raised by a father and mother, a single father, two fathers, a step father, a grandfather, or caring guardian.”

In response, BCNN has placed a call to action on their website urging Christians to tell Obama he’s dead wrong on this.

“Black Christian News has called for the nation’s “Megachurch Pastors and Prophets of God to Publicly Rebuke this unwise President,” according to its website. Explicitly the statement calls for T. D. Jakes, Eddie Long, Charles Black, Charles Stanley, Pat Robertson, Tony Evans, Al Sharpton, Kirbyjon Caldwell, Jesse Jackson, David Jeremiah, Frederick Haynes III, and others to stand up against what it sees as the progress of a homosexual agenda.”

But will they do it? So far, not a peep.

Many Christians fail to realize (or want to realize) that Obama is the political equivalent of Carlton Pearson. His ideology is a political inclusion philosophy which (even as a self proclaimed Christian) drives him to devalue Christ as equal to other religious figures. The Word of God is used only as a social justice prop when convenient.

Tutu is one of the gay movement’s heroes because he doesn’t adhere to the bible, but to the broad social gospel which has no standards, just “love”. And of course following God’s Word would mean that you would have to say that not all sexual activity is good and acceptable. So Tutu and those like him conveniently navigate around the heart of the issue and erect ridiculous strawmen as if the Bible is nothing but a suggestive afterthought on moral issues.

Writing in the Washington Post, the Nobel prize winner unsuccessfully tries to draw a parallel using the more than debunked argument that sexual conduct and skin color are one in the same. Its an glaring example of how compromise is a sure killer of spiritual credibility.

Hate has no place in the house of God. No one should be excluded from our love, our compassion or our concern because of race or gender, faith or ethnicity — or because of their sexual orientation. Nor should anyone be excluded from health care on any of these grounds. In my country of South Africa, we struggled for years against the evil system of apartheid that divided human beings, children of the same God, by racial classification and then denied many of them fundamental human rights. We knew this was wrong. Thankfully, the world supported us in our struggle for freedom and dignity.

It is time to stand up against another wrong.

Gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered people are part of so many families. They are part of the human family. They are part of God’s family. And of course they are part of the African family. But a wave of hate is spreading across my beloved continent. People are again being denied their fundamental rights and freedoms. Men have been falsely charged and imprisoned in Senegal, and health services for these men and their community have suffered. In Malawi, men have been jailed and humiliated for expressing their partnerships with other men. Just this month, mobs in Mtwapa Township, Kenya, attacked men they suspected of being gay. Kenyan religious leaders, I am ashamed to say, threatened an HIV clinic there for providing counseling services to all members of that community, because the clerics wanted gay men excluded.

Archbishop Tutu would have been much more accurate to say “sin has no place in the house of God”. He wouldn’t say that because he knows the gay community he is beholden to, hates that word. To them, this isn’t about being against sin, its about a selective application of false love. Certainly, humanity is grateful for Tutu’s work to help end South Africa’s oppressive racial system, but there’s no comparison to the oppression of sin which has permeated and enslaved much of the entire world. For the record, I personally don’t support imprisoning or executing people for homosexual acts. At the same time, I support a country’s sovereign right to make and adjudicate their own laws whether good or bad.

While racial hatred and discrimination is an outgrowth of sin, the same is true of homosexuality. Saying that one is good and the other is evil is a disservice to practitioners of both sins. Both deserve to be told the truth so that they can experience true freedom made available by the blood of Jesus Christ.

Tutu’ argument is centered on the still unfolding drama in Uganda. He says the proposed law is a “terrible backward steps for human rights in Africa.” Indeed it is, but even if the law was never proposed, homosexual conduct would retain its sin designation. Even if Uganda passes a law giving homosexuals full legal rights, homosexuality would still be an abomination. The point Tutu intentionally refuses to acknowledge is that the destruction of sin is incalculable and cannot be legalized away. Thus, hate is a mislabeled problem with a problematic outcome.

Our lesbian and gay brothers and sisters across Africa are living in fear.

And they are living in hiding — away from care, away from the protection the state should offer to every citizen and away from health care in the AIDS era, when all of us, especially Africans, need access to essential HIV services. That this pandering to intolerance is being done by politicians looking for scapegoats for their failures is not surprising. But it is a great wrong. An even larger offense is that it is being done in the name of God. Show me where Christ said “Love thy fellow man, except for the gay ones.” Gay people, too, are made in my God’s image. I would never worship a homophobic God.

“But they are sinners,” I can hear the preachers and politicians say. “They are choosing a life of sin for which they must be punished.” My scientist and medical friends have shared with me a reality that so many gay people have confirmed, I now know it in my heart to be true. No one chooses to be gay. Sexual orientation, like skin color, is another feature of our diversity as a human family. Isn’t it amazing that we are all made in God’s image, and yet there is so much diversity among his people? Does God love his dark- or his light-skinned children less? The brave more than the timid? And does any of us know the mind of God so well that we can decide for him who is included, and who is excluded, from the circle of his love?

A homophobic God? Perhaps Tutu is revealing who he is worshipping and it is not the God of the Bible. It makes one wonder if this “homophobic God” is this the same one who said that the unrighteous would not enter into his kingdom? In case you didnt know it, in the spiritual matrix world of the tolerance and diversity adherents, the top transgressions are homophobia and judging. Beyond that, little else angers them.

Tutu’s last question is an interesting one which immediately prompts another of the same. Can human wisdom exceed or supercede the wisdom of the Creator? If he in his unparalled wisdom, created man and woman, oriented them to each other sexually, relationally and emotionally, then pronounced it all good, who are we to say that he intended or worse created something so different and foreign as homosexuality?

More vomit spewed out of the mouth of the gay christian movement’s hero.

The Episcopal Church’s first homosexual bishop believes its time for everyone to begin accepting different sexual expressions beside just the regular run of the mill “gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender” ones we’ve become accustomed to. The statement made by Vickie Gene Robinson is outrageous in its concept, but thus far his church has been silent. No surprises there but at least the slippery slope they claim does not exist, now has a face.

Robinson made his remarks as he is preparing to enter a more politically charged arena [source]

The Center for American Progress (CAP) said in an announcement that Robinson will focus on issues related to economic justice, immigration, gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) rights, health care, and the environment, among others.

“I think Gene’s qualifications for this role probably approximate his qualifications for the role of prophet, which he has assumed in the Episcopal Church,” said William Murchison, a member of the denomination and author of Mortal Follies: Episcopalians and the Crisis of Mainline Christianity.

“Everything Gene does tends to be conditioned upon his absolute faith that he knows what he is talking about,” Murchison said. “He’s a man of some charm, but if you get beyond these somewhat basic and superficial credentials, I don’t believe there’s a whole lot of ‘there’ there.”

Robinson most recently drew attention from comments made last week at the Spring meeting of the Episcopal Church House of Bishops. Expressing dissatisfaction with two policy papers presented for and against same-sex marriage, Robinson said it was time to move beyond speaking of “GLBT” orientations.

“There are so many other letters in the alphabet,” Robinson said. “There are so many other sexualities to be explored.”

The Bishop did not elaborate as to what other sexualities might be, and to their corresponding letters of the alphabet.

Robinson knows full well what he means by “other sexualities”. A few of them immediately come to mind: pedophilia, beastiality and the deadly sexual practice called erotic asphyxiation, a component of the S&M world. And those are some of the more tamer practices Bishop Robinson is encouraging people to “explore” and experience.

You know who Im referring to. Obama wants open homosexuality in the military via the repeal of Dont Ask Dont Tell. Maybe he thinks its good for the economy. Desperate to give homosexuals a reason to vote for him again in 2012, Obama has discovered a coup de etat he can hand the activists. With this nation in severe financial trouble, the SOTUS (savior of the US) finds time to push for open homosexuality among our nation’s servicemen and women. The fallout has already begun with a sharp signal sent to military chaplains who may find occasion to tell a servicemember homosexuality is sinful. Once homosexual “equality” is coded into military law, such chaplains will find themselves kicked out and their careers ended. Im not a prophet, but you who are wise and alert can see where this will end up.

A pro-family leader and former military officer is very concerned about the future of the U.S. military Chaplain Corps if President Obama is successful in ending the ban on homosexuals serving in the military.

As reported earlier by OneNewsNow, Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council (FRC) had been invited to speak at the National Prayer Luncheon at Andrews Air Force Base on February 25. But because he had spoken out forcefully against President Obama’s desire to repeal the 1993 law which bans homosexuals from military service, his invitation to speak at the event was cancelled.

Perkins, who is an ordained minister as well as a Marine Corps veteran, had planned to give a devotional message — not a political one. He says what happened to him should serve as a warning to those who would dare oppose Obama’s agenda, particularly military chaplains who espouse a biblical worldview.

“[The Chaplain Corps is] very concerned about this policy in that if it does go through and the military is forced to embrace homosexuality, that there will be a mass exodus of chaplains,” contends Perkins. “And quite likely because chaplains have to be sponsored by an association or denomination, that those who have an orthodox view on Christianity and scripture would be disqualified from sponsoring chaplains.”

So Perkins says in essence the military would become void of Bible-believing, Bible-preaching, Bible-counseling chaplains.

In other military news, although chaplains who embrace biblical truth are unwelcome, other religions are being feted and honored with their own “places of worship”. The Huffington Post reported that in January the Air Force has erected a idol temple for pagans:

The Air Force Academy has set aside an outdoor worship area for Pagans, Wiccans, Druids and other Earth-centered believers, school officials said Monday.A double circle of stones atop a hill on the campus near Colorado Springs has been designated for the group, which previously met indoors.

“Being with nature and connecting with it is kind of the whole point,” said Tech. Sgt. Brandon Longcrier, who sponsors the group and describes himself as a Pagan. “It will dramatically improve that atmosphere, the mindset and the actual connection.”

My point: Get this on and get out and do this because this is in full effect.

LOL. Sorry, I couldn’t be more mature about this. The Affirmation Declaration (hereafter known as TAD) is intended to be a rebuttal to The Manhattan Declaration (hereafter known as MAD*). It reminds me of the answer songs of the eighties. Remember Club Nouveau’s “Jealousy” was recorded as a answer to Timex Social Club’s “Rumors”?

With the growing notoriety and support for the Manhattan Declaration, our Affirmation Declaration reflects an urgent need to respond to the portion of the Manhattan Declaration dealing with issues related to sexual orientation—specifically, homosexuality and same-sex marriage. We strongly disagree with the contention that same-sex attractions and the oft-resulting romantic activities are immoral.

Because of the large number of people affected by this serious issue one way or the other, we felt it expedient to respond formally, both by submitting our Declaration to the drafters of the Manhattan Declaration, as well as by releasing our Declaration to the public, allowing Christians to show their support for love and affirmation, just as so many have shown their support for the propagation of false doctrines of oppression and inequality against the GLBTI (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, and Intersex) community.

We also desire to let the world know that not all Christians are locked in what we believe to be an ancient worldview regarding homosexuality. We want to give people hope—hope to know that God loves them just as they are; hope to know that their gay loved ones are not destined for Hell; hope to know that although some Christian churches will never accept them or their same-sex unions, a great many will.

If MAD had its insurmountable flaws, the TAD is an outright abomination. Heaven help us all.

*Congruence correction

A gaggle of religious clerics, claiming to represent God, congratulate themselves at Asbury United Methodist Church, Washington, D.C on excluding God’s definition of marriage.

The purpose of the “Soulful Voices for Marriage Equality: A Faith Celebration” according to the organizers was so “people of faith came together to celebrate, praise, bless and lift up ALL our relationships.”

They have no need for God to bless anything, this is self-blessing. Although they acknowledge him with their lips, their hearts and actions are far from him.

For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles Romans 1:21-23 NIV

The reality of their self righteous blessing is that they know God has already condemned their relationships and since they know his word wont change, they use his name in vain and “bless” the images which reflect their sexual idolatry. Take special note of the Jewish rabbi who at 3:23 brags about changing Genesis chapter 2 to accommodate homosexual marriage.

How sad and tragic, yet another sign that we are approaching the return of the Lord.

Leaders of several African American prolife organizations have issued a strongly worded statement opposing COGIC Bishop Charles Blake’s endorsement of the Obama healthcare agenda. We reported earlier that the Blake endorsement came just a month after Obama’s personal teleconference with over 400 leaders of the religious left where he accused the opposition of “bearing false witness”.

But leaders from the National Black Pro Life Congress, L.E.A.R.N Inc. (Life Education and Resource Network), the Network of Politically Active Christians said in a Monday press releases they were “outraged” at Bishop Blake’s support of the healthcare proposal.

As God-fearing individuals we encourage COGIC leaders to read and evaluate the President’s plan, including the Capps-Waxman Amendment, rather than merely parroting his words. If unborn children cannot depend on the Church to carefully examine this bill to see if their lives will be protected from state-funded genocide, on whom can they depend?

Such an endorsement does not consider the devastating impact abortion is having in the black community. Over 1,400 black babies each day are lynched out of their mothers’ wombs. Clearly, this rate of prenatal murder in our community outpaces death by heart disease, diabetes, cancer, HIV/AIDS and violent crime combined.

We find it troubling that this endorsement does not acknowledge the deliberate targeting of the black community by Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry, nor decry the mental and physiological impact abortion is having on black women across America.

We recommend in the strongest terms possible that this endorsement be withdrawn until such time that the Obama administration adds language to the health care proposal that specifically prohibits taxpayer funded abortions.

Although Blake has said that he is a prolife Democrat, during the Democratic National Convention, where he spoke at a left wing religious rally, he criticized Republicans who oppose abortion.

“Others loudly proclaim their advocacy for the unborn, but refuse to recognize their responsibility, and that of our nation, to the living. They are presently and historically silent, if not indifferent, to the suffering of our inner cities, the extreme levels of economic and social inequality that exist in this country and around the world, and to the ethnically indefensible restrictions blocking the access of some to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for all.”

Speaking of having a responsibility to the living, when is Bishop Blake going to speak out in defense of the innumerable children who have been sexually victimized by clergy in his denomination?

Bishop Blake really should save his criticism until he can get his own house in order.

Interesting. Ironic. Bizarre.

That’s how I would describe the following story by the LA Times. Its about Bishop Charles Blake who comes out carrying the torch for Obama’s controversial health care plan.

Legislation proposed by House Democrats would require public healthcare money to be segregated into separate accounts so that only private funds could be used for abortions. Conservatives call that an “accounting scheme.”

The black leaders are expected to use careful language — echoing Obama’s abortion funding pledge while cautioning the White House against breaking its promise.

“In accord with our commitment to Christian teaching, we wholeheartedly affirm the president’s position that medical costs related to the abortion of fetuses shall not be covered by healthcare plans funded by this initiative,” Blake will say today, according to an advance copy of his remarks.
A leading abortion opponent who has fought against Obama’s healthcare plan suggested Wednesday that the black ministers might not wind up in the White House’s camp. Douglas Johnson, legislative director for National Right to Life, said the clergy instead should be pressing for legislative amendments that ensure no government money goes toward abortions.

“From what the pastors are saying, it sounds like what they want to do is what we want to do — which is to ensure that these new plans not cover elective abortions,” Johnson said.

The predominantly African American Church of God in Christ is one of the world’s largest Pentecostal denominations, with an estimated 6 million members. Its leadership, including Blake, has been heavily courted over the years by Republicans including former President George W. Bush, who viewed them as potential conservative allies because of their views on abortion, same-sex marriage and embryonic stem cell research.

Full text of Bishop Blake’s media statement.

“Abortion of fetuses”? That sounds bizarre in a technical way coming from a holiness church leader who is “antiabortion”. The word “fetus” is almost always used by abortion rights advocates who reject the personhood of a child in the womb.

Its also ironic that Blake would seek out media attention for this but play the silent game with clergy sexual abuse in his own denomination as well as not saying a single word against Obama when he pushes his homosexual rights agenda.

Blake also reduces the number from the standard unsubstantiated 47 million without health care to an unsubstantiated 30 million. I wonder what type of scientific criteria are they using to come up with these numbers? Or is this just official guesstimating?

Addendum

Bishop Blake’s decision to be a front man for Obamacare may not necessarily be because he is concerned about the plight of poor people with no health care. Charisma reported late last month that Obama recruited church leaders to carry the ball for him to the star struck church folk. That may have been the fodder Blake needed to launch his pitch to the black church.

President Obama on Wednesday accused opponents of his controversial health reform plan of “bearing false witness” during a conference call with faith leaders who represent what is being called the “religious left.”

During the 10-minute call, organized by the left-leaning Faith in Public Life as part of a 40-day campaign to promote health care reform, Obama criticized opponents for propagating “ludicrous ideas” about the plan, including claims that the bill calls for death panels for the elderly, seeks to insure illegal aliens and would fund abortion.

As part of his offensive Obama broke out his shallow religious rhetoric encased in his own political interpretations. He accused his detractors of “bearing false witness”. Once again, the fake saviour is using the bible to ensnare foolish church people who worship his status.

“These are all fabrications that have been put out there in order to discourage people from meeting what I consider to be a core ethical and moral obligation—and that is that we look out for one another. I am my brother’s keeper; I am my sister’s keeper. “In the wealthiest nation on earth right now, we are neglecting to live up to that call.”, Obama told the religious left members on the call.

See more of the fake savior’s use of the bible to support his agenda.

Personally, I believe the entire gay christian movement is about as legitimate as a nazi christian movement but that’s another post for another time.

But here is more proof gay christian clerics are nothing more than pack mules for the gay political movement. Perhaps in total, that is their chief purpose: abetting the homosexual political movement’s church domination fantasy. [source]

Human Rights Campaign (HRC) President Joe Solmonese called clergy a powerful new lobbying force for the gay and lesbian community.

In an interview with Dan Gilgoff, religious correspondent for U.S. News & World Report, the gay rights leader agreed that clergy were becoming powerful advocates of gay rights.

“LGBT people, many of us are people of faith, and there are religious leaders in this country who support LGBT equality, and it has taken us too long to empower those voices and ensure those people are out there fighting on the front lines on our behalf. Our Clergy Call for Justice brought 300 clergy, more than five from each of the 50 states, and we worked with them to walk the halls of Congress and lobby on behalf of LGBT issues in full religious vestments,” Solmonese said.

“One of the most profound things I see whenever we do this is the staff members in those congressional offices oftentimes are confused about whether they’re there to lobby for LGBT causes or against them. That itself says to me that we’re woefully overdue on that. So clergy will continue to be a powerful front line lobbying force for us.”

The group’s new religious programs turn conventional wisdom on its head as clergy lobby for gay and lesbian rights instead of oppose them.

Full religious vestments. Right. Dress to deceive. We’ve documented as far back as 2002 the salivating of the Human Rights Campaign when they first discovered that donning a religious mask would help advance their attempts to get access to the church. Although those efforts failed, they decided it would be better to enlist double agents. Hence they fed the gay christian movement its social justice dung who in turn it humped it into the church.

I hate to be blunt, but passive leaders, greedy hirelings and spiritually illiterate pew members opened the doors.
