The British singer told Parade Magazine:
“I think Jesus was a compassionate, super-intelligent gay man who understood human problems. On the cross, he forgave the people who crucified him. Jesus wanted us to be loving and forgiving. I don’t know what makes people so cruel. Try being a gay woman in the Middle East — you’re as good as dead.”
Every since he was violently thrown out of the presence of God for pride and unmitigated arrogance, Satan is always trying to project onto the Lord Jesus his own demented and perverted …

Gay actor opposes pedophile background checks

According to a report by Starpulse, Lord of the Rings star the homosexual activist Ian McKellen is on the record opposing background checks of pedophiles.
Ian McKellen has spoken out against Britain’s new anti-pedophile database, insisting the new scheme will dissuade amateur theaters from casting children. The Lord of the Rings star fears the Vetting and Barring Scheme, which requires any adult working with children to register and submit a background check, will result in limited roles for young performers.
Adults who don’t comply face a fine of up to $8,000 and …

The preacher’s [gay marriage supporting] kid

Edit: This post has been amended due to information that Luckett is a member of Joel Osteen’s church.
A new Christian film star on the horizon? You may want to take a closer look first.
Its truly a tragic thing when we have to alert people in the church about other “church-types” who are working against God’s will to infect the church with their insanity. Enter Matt Crouch, stage left.
The Preacher’s Kid, is the latest religious movie backed by Matt Crouch and his Gener8Xion Entertainment company.

Lessons in effigy hanging?

The Atlanta Journal Constitution [source] says the US Secret Service is “investigating” an effigy hanging in Plains, GA. The reason: it was a dummy with Barack Obama’s name on it.
Secret Service spokesman Ed Donovan told The Associated Press that the large black doll was found Saturday morning along Main Street in the small town of Plains.
According to footage from WALB-TV, the doll was hanging by a noose in front of a red, white and blue sign that says “Plains, Georgia. Home of Jimmy Carter, our 39th President.” A witness told …

Mary, Mary quite contrary

Gospel industry workers Mary, Mary may be about to become quite contrary, contrary. But is that a big surprise?
The sisters are scheduled to appear with Maxwell (of the “do a little sumthin, sumthin” fame) on his current “Black Summers Night” tour.
Now dont go getting all spiritual and say this is God. Maxwell is a labelmate of M-M and requested that they show up with him. They say sex sells, so with the sleek, sexy new look the “queens of gospel” (new BET title) have donned, they fit right into the …

A new breed of divinity?

Death is funny. Obviously, not in a hilarous way, but funny in a strange sort of way. Although countless people die everyday, we elect some to receive extraordinary dimensions of praise and wonderment. Its like creating a new breed of divinity. A man angel. People gape, wonder after, exalt and believe an individual’s wayward eccentrics on earth qualify them for a seat at the left hand of God. People are quick to slap lily white angel wings on folks when they die.  People talk as if Jesus himself will rush …

Church music on lower ground

The refrain of the hymn “Im pressing on the upward way” extols the blessing of reaching for that which is above us as we reach for God’s standands.
I want to live above the world,
Though Satan’s darts at me are hurled;
For faith has caught the joyful sound,
The song of saints on higher ground.
But today, the saints are reaching lower and are standing on lower ground, barely discernable from the world. The songs are now beat driven “hits” performed by artists whose goal is to chart, not glorify God.
That may only be because the …

“Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
And he called to him the multitude with his disciples, and said to them, “If any man would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it; and whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel’s will save it. For what does it profit a man, to gain the whole world and forfeit his life? For what can a man give …
