Homosexuality may have the ‘Church’ silent, but not God’s Faithful

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God forsalvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.” Romans 1:16-17

Everyday this world as we know it moves closer and closer to destruction. Don’t close out this blog just yet, I’m not preaching the “end of the world is today” stuff. However, I am preaching something that needs to be heard. The truth.

It seems as if that message (The Truth) is an archaic one. Few want to hear it. Others who claim to know it, don’t want to share it with others. Why is that? When a person is abused by a sexual predator and caught, the courts make it their business to let everyone know that the perpetrator is a threat to society.

Sexual predators are immediately locked up and then if they are lucky enough to be released back into the world, they are heavily marked in police systems, newspapers and internet sites etc.

What about when a car dealer sells you a bad car and then fails to help you when it breaks down?  You go out and “speak the truth about him” to all of your friends, family members, and co-workers. I’ve actually seen car dealers go out of business after scamming one too many people in the same city. People don’t mind spreading that kind of truth.

So what’s the problem when it comes to spreading the truth about God’s word? Why are we so silent about key issues regarding our faith? Why do we become like deaf mutes whenever God places an evangelistic prompting in our hearts?

Here’s a good question:

Why are we so silent about the homosexuality issue that is sweeping our very nation right now?

The internet alone is saturated with erroneous biblically ignorant sinners who are promoting the homosexual agenda. The myriad of videos, blogs, articles, movies, books, television shows, commercials that are pushing the homosexual agenda right now is mind boggling. Not because they exist, but because this world is totally sinful and the power/prince of the air has it on lock down. I expect that from them.

What I didn’t expect is the SILENCE and COWARDICE (sort of like a defeated dog with his tail between his legs) of the protestant/evangelical/pentecostal community in the face of one of the most massive attacks on scripture we have ever seen. Homosexual churches are popping up everywhere and deceiving many so fast that even the well known stars of so called “gospel” music are falling for the lie.

“Homosexual christians” are taking their message of this sickening, fake, loveless, so called “equality” inclusion garbage to the streets and we sit back and have our countless praise fests and mega shifts into greater anointings. Father Forgive Us!!!

People are dying!!!! People are being lied to!!! People are speed racing into eternal damnation and what is the church doing about it? NOTHING!!! You know what let me take that back, they are doing something. They are giving into these homosexual terrorist demands see here.

Only a remnant?

We can still Praise the Lord because as it is always in the scriptures, God has a remnant of faithful followers who have not bowed down to baal. And one of our representatives is a strong brother in the Lord. A former New York Giant best known for catching a ridiculous pass to keep a Superbowl winning drive alive . Unbeknownst to me and I’m pretty sure a lot of others as well he is a true bonafied Christian with knowledge of His God’s glorious word. His name is David Tyree! And I’m proud to call him a brother in the Lord!

David Tyree really made a name for himself when he single handedly enraged the gay marriage devotees in New York. Tyree declared (truthfully) that homosexual marriage would lead to anarchy. Praise God for this man and his uncompromising message of truth!

The sad thing is that he quickly became the object of hate and vilification without measure. The enemy shot volleys of fiery darts and arrows at him but nevertheless he and the rest of us will endure adversity and persecution just like the Apostle Paul did:

“Are they servants of Christ? I am a better one—I am talking like a madman—with far greater labors, far more imprisonments, with countless beatings, and often near death. Five times I received at the hands of the Jews the forty lashes less one. Three times I was beaten with rods. Once I was stoned. Three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I was adrift at sea; on frequent journeys, in danger from rivers, danger from robbers, danger from my own people, danger from Gentiles, danger in the city, danger in the wilderness, danger at sea, danger from false brothers; in toil and hardship, through many a sleepless night, in hunger and thirst, often without food, in cold and exposure. And, apart from other things, there is the daily pressure on me of my anxiety for all the churches.” 2 Corinthians 11:23-28

Paul endured all this affliction to speak the truth of God word to sinners.

Sadly a modern day saint can’t even endure somebody “talking about them” in the church without leaving the church and no longer attending. But what is even more crazy is how no major “so called” Christian leader has stepped up to challenge the enemy and his lies. Think about it: have you heard any rebuttals from Joel Osteen, T.D. Jakes, COGIC Bishop Charles E. Blake, Joyce Meyer, Benny Hinn, Billy Graham, Creflo Dollar, John Hagee, Paula White, Eddie Long? NO! And you won’t for two reasons.

1. They are not true Christian Leaders (or believers for that matter) for obvious reasons (google their names).

2. To speak out against homosexuality will cost them major money, followers, and popularity. Meaning they would actually have to suffer for Christ. Now why would they do that? (rhetorical question)

Please keep Brother Tyree in prayer. Also if you’re on Facebook like the group We Support David Tyree & Biblical Marriage.

Charisma features exlesbian on July cover

From a Charisma Magazine press release, its July issue will take a hard look at homosexuality and the challenges it presents to the contemporary church with a lead story entitled “The Church’s gay Delimma: What radical activists dont want you to know”. Featured on the cover is Minneapolis based ex-lesbian Janet Boynes.

Lake Mary, FL – Charisma magazine tackles the tough subject of homosexuality and the church in order to shed a huge spotlight of truth on the enemy’s lies. For their lead story, they couldn’t have chosen a better model than Creation House author—and former lesbian—Janet Boynes.
In the July issue (on sale June 22nd), Janet exposes the deception to which so many have fallen prey, when they come to believe that same-sex attraction is a natural part of who they are. With courage, candor, and compassion, she shares her powerful story of a life transformed by God’s grace and delivered to a freedom framed and powered by God’s purpose.
Janet’s message is one of hope, spoken with the wisdom and passion of someone who’s been there. Many people will read her heartbreaking story of childhood abuse and abandonment and be able to relate to the brokenness that led her on a quest for acceptance and love. This is a familiar scenario for many individuals trapped in the homosexual lifestyle.
For years, Janet lived her life knowing she was on a destructive path, but she had no idea how to change. Her heart cried out for freedom, and the Lord heard her. Through a surprise encounter with a Christian woman she’d never met, God set the stage that ultimately would lead to her deliverance.

Boynes, the author of the book “Called Out”,  was also featured on the Dr. Drew show and  Lisa Ling’s “pray away the gay” mockumentary on Oprah Winfrey’s new network.

Former lesbian: “Im proud to follow Jesus”

Abigail Meadows’ life as an unrepentant lesbian followed a familiar path we’ve heard many times before. Sin delivers a very predictable wage. On the surface she was doing big things. But in a backslidden state her life was full of shame and loneliness. From her Zion Travails website:

“Prior to the day the Holy Spirit came in and purged my life, I was confused, unwilling to change my lifestyle, lonely and depressed. I was in graduate school pursing a career in the cosmetic industry as a cosmetic scientist. I was also a model and a make-up artist for movie productions on Broadway and off-Broadway productions in New York City. Although it appeared as though I was ok, secretly I was ashamed of my choices and always cried out to God for deliverance.

I had given my life to the Lord at an early age, however, I was living a backslidden life. Several Super Natural events took place whereby, God separated my sinful desire and gave me His Desire deep within my heart. God sent a messenger from Brazil to tell me that God wanted me back with Him. It was after this occasion that several ministers of the Gospel shared revelatory words of knowledge with demonstration and power of the word of God with me within a 3-month time frame. Finally, Holy Ghost, himself came and purged me by removing the spirit of Sexual Perversion with signs, miracles and wonders. This was one of the most pivotal days of my life. I re-committed my life back to the Lord and received “eternal salvation” and “everlasting life” with Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.

I am so glad that God took the time and was very personal with me. The lifestyle I live now is not embarrassing nor does it bring me shame. I am proud to follow Jesus and His Way. My life has never been the same and neither will yours.

Prophetess Meadows leads a prayer and intercession ministry in Albany, GA and GCM Watch is so grateful she’s shared her testimony (and STRONG, SOUND TEACHING) via video. Watch and listen and if you are bound in homosexuality, heed her wisdom and be free.

Moses’ mountaintop: hip hop, deliverance and homosexuality

Christian Hip Hop may have gotten a bad rap from some quarters of the church, but artists like B. Moses (Brandon Moses) are pressing ahead into a new promised land where the issues are no longer taboo, but addressed with power, authority and the Word of God. Moses has opened and performed with artists such as Tye Tribbett, J.Moss, Flame, Lecrae, Trip Lee, and D.A. Truth and hails from Columbus, OH. He agreed to talk with GCM Watch about one of his songs “He is Real“, which has had a strong and favorable reaction from the overcoming community.

Gay Christian Movement Watch: B. Moses where did the message concept for the song “He is Real” originate?

Brandon Moses: Well, this has been a subject that has caught my attention for years.  And in preparing to write the “Reppin the King” album. this subject was really strong in my spirit. I really felt that God was leading me to address it. The concern initially was my approach. This [homosexuality] is obviously a controversial and sensitive topic. So the idea came to me that I should find someone that had actually been delivered from homosexuality, and just tell their story and testimony in song form. Well, I heard about the young man (that’s who I’m referring to in the song) from a friend. I interviewed him and asked him to share his story with me. That’s how the concept was shaped.

GCMWAnd so after hearing the young man’s story, was it a struggle for you to decide to rap about it? Any fears?

BM: Wow, after hearing the young man’s story my first thoughts were…”man, what am I getting myself into”. I was blown away by his story. The first thing that really floored me is that he said that the “4 different men” I mention in the song were all preachers. That really shook me up. The next thing was, when he mentioned he slept with over 200 men between the ages of 14-19. I guess it just opened my eyes even more about that lifestyle.  And it also opened my eyes about molestation, not only in general… but also in the church.  So YES, there was fear, and pause, and hesitation to write the song after hearing his story.

GCMW: You mention in the song that you had to “put up a fight to write this song”. Do you think doing something impactful for the Kingdom will bring warfare?

BM: I definitely had to put up a fight to write this song, indeed. I believe when you decide to take a stand for the Kingdom of God there’s definitely going to be spiritual warfare. We know that we don’t war against flesh and blood, but principalities and powers, and spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:11-12)  “He is real” was very, very close to NOT making the album. Mostly out of pure frustration and discouragement. I had this nagging temptation to quit and give up trying to address this issue because I thought I wouldn’t be able to execute it properly. But in the midst of it, God showed me that it was something I would have to press through and go to war in the spirit to push out. Clearly the enemy doesn’t want and didn’t want this message to get out!

GCMW: There are a lot of people (even religious) who don’t believe “change and transformation” apply to homosexuals. Whats the deal on that?

BM: A couple of things come to my mind like lack of faith and little knowledge of what the word of GOD declares. In 1 Cor 6:9-11 the Apostle Paul goes through a list of  people that are in different types of sin, (which includes homosexuals) that will not inherit the kingdom of God. But at verse 11, he goes on to say “And such WERE some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the spirit of our God.”  Clearly, we see  in this passage that there were EX-homosexuals in the church in Paul’s day. Those that had been saved and delivered from that lifestyle. Plus I think the homosexual agenda and propaganda that is pushed so strongly in society helps contribute to the lie that “once a homosexual, always a homosexual.”

GCMW: Molestation is an ugly issue many people would rather ignore. But its real and destroying people’s lives. He is Real is calling on the church to deal with this, right?

BM: “He is real” is most definitely calling on the church to deal with this molestation epidemic. I think it needs to be exposed and uncovered. Like you said, lives are literally being destroyed. These evil deeds that have been done in the dark need to be brought into the light. Unfortunately, I feel that there is a lot of compromise in the church and rampant sin in the leadership. So, before we the church can really address and confront the issue with authority, I believe there needs to be a lot of repentance and cleansing in the body, and in the leadership. This falls in line with what I said in the 2nd verse. “We’ve lost focus, and turned our back to the lost, let’s repent and turn back to the cross….examine yourself”.

GCMW: Did having your own change and transformation experience with Christ help you in telling this young man’s story?

BM: Absolutely! Although I’ve never experienced the lifestyle he was in. But sin is sin and I have my own testimony of how God brought me out of the mess I was in. So I will always be able to understand the feeling of truly being changed and transformed by the power of God!  And it definitely helped me tell his story.

GCMW: The gospel music industry has pretty much ignored incorporating messages like the one in He is Real. But there seems to be more boldness on the part of artists like yourself, Flame and others to talk about homosexuality and redemption. What are your thoughts on that?

BM: Sometimes when I think about the gospel music industry, I get sick to my stomach. Just being honest. Its really become so watered down, and even with some artists who come into the industry with a pure message of substance, its seems that, not all,  but a lot of them eventually become watered down as well. A part of me loathes the “industry”, but I know I’m called to do what I do. So its part of the deal. I think these issues like homosexuality and molestation and other serious and controversial topics are avoided because the record labels and sometimes the artist, don’t want to risk offending anybody and losing potential record sales or engagements, etc. I had the chance to meet “Flame” a few years back and I thank God for his ministry and he has always been very bold in his messages.  Addressing these issues can obviously be a challenge, the possibility of backlash and hatred is there, but we can not truly be the CHURCH if we do not address these issues in love, and with the power and authority of the Holy Spirit.

GCMW: In my opinion, He is Real is well written and arranged. Is writing a song difficult?

BM: There are some songs that are more difficult to write than others. This song as I explained was a challenge for the reasons I gave. But there are other songs that come together rather quickly. And of course every writer gets “writer’s block” every now and than. I personally think that writing songs for the kingdom can be more difficult, because if you really want to represent God’s heart in song form it takes a sincere devotion to God, making sure your message lines up with God’s word, and also making sure your approach reflects the heart of God. Every song will not have the tone and seriousness of “He is real” but in my opinion, these things still apply nonetheless.

GCMW: You had some help with this. Talk to me about your collaborators and how much of it is your input?

BM: YES! I had some wonderful help on this song! When the concept of the song was first thought of, I wasn’t sure if I would have a male or female singing on it. But I knew I had to have some strong vocals on this song. I was responsible for the concept, and writing all of my parts, and also the chorus. Gospel artist Isaac Simpson is singing the chorus. Background vocals were done by Erik Dillard of Kelicosa Entertainment. And Minister Sean Scales takes us out with that wonderful climactic ending. Erik Dillard mixed and mastered my entire album. I’ve known Isaac Simpson for over 7 years from church and ministry. I went to High school with Minister Sean Scales. It was definitely a blessing to hook up with these brothers to do this song.

GCMW: I agree, the vocals were perfect against the message. So, do you foresee yourself tackling homosexuality in your music in future projects?

BM: I do see myself tackling the issue again in the future. Whether it be through song form, or some other capacity, I just want to make sure that I continue to be led by the Spirit whenever I address this issue again. I’m no expert, and I still have a lot to learn. But its clear to me that God has given me a heart for homosexuals.

Exlesbian’s book gives truthful “behind the scenes” look at lesbianism

Editor’s note: From what seems to be a complex web in a life of bondage, a beautiful story of redemption emerges. Brittany Ursery used to be what lesbian subculture calls a “stud”. Then, she submitted her life to Jesus Christ and He changed everything. Now, a passionate advocate for freedom and deliverance from “the lifestyle”, the talented 22 year old wrote a book about her experiences “The Truth Behind the Scenes.” [website] And she graciously granted GCM Watch an interview about the book and her life after lesbianism.

Gay Christian Movement Watch: Part one of your book describes a sort of preconditioning you went through as a preteen. Things like name calling, your hormones, even distancing yourself from your family. Do you think that’s the path a lot of kids follow into homosexuality without knowing it?
Brittany Usery: Yes, based on what I’ve been told by quite a few youth I’ve talked to, they are preconditioned to accept homosexuality because of those circumstances. Just the other day a young lady told me how she always thought her sisters were more pretty then her, and how she used to get teased. She figured since nobody accepted her she would just rebel and turn to homosexuality. So those factors can and do influence a young person’s choices about their sexuality.

GCMW: For a person so young, your book is surprisingly insightful. Where does that come from?
BU: That’s a great question. After God brought me out of the lifestyle, various people that knew me asked about the change. So instead of telling everyone individually, I asked God how do I share it with a multitude of people at once. So he told me to write it down. So at that moment I sat at my laptop and before I knew it God brought my past to my remembrance and God basically wrote the book, and just used my fingers. He knew I was a willing vessel. But the insightful part just comes from whatever God had me write. I look back at my book sometimes and just know that God had to write that, because I can’t even duplicate some of the stuff that was said

GCMW: Is Behind the Scenes mostly for people your age or do you think its better for parents to read it and get some knowledge?
BU: The demographic age of the book is intended for people 14 and up. I suggest if the child has an immature mind, that the parent read it first, because I don’t want the book to do damage. The first few chapters when I express the rules in the gay community is definitely for parents, so that if they over hear their child saying certain words they will know what’s going on.

GCMW: You’ve described yourself as an EX-Stud. To some people that’s a radical thing. Why do that?
BU: I identify as an ex-stud, because when people see “studs” [female lesbians who appear to be men or masculine], they see them as rough hardcore females trying to emulate guys. So when they see me and they try to imagine me as a stud, all they can say is God is good, because I no longer have those stud qualities. Also you have to be bold in the life to be a stud, because of the identity issue. But as a fem or female that looks and acts like a regular heterosexual female they won’t get as many stares and evil looks; because their identity isn’t distorted as much as studs.

GCMW: Being an EX-stud do you need to work harder on your appearance and mannerisms than other women who get saved and is that important?
BU: Well before I got involved in the life, I was never sure how to portray myself as a feminine girl. So the only thing I have tried to work on is changing my voice back to feminine. While in the life I trained my voice to sound masculine, so that I could get more girls. Besides that I don’t struggle with wearing heels, I know how to go to the shop and get my hair done, and feminine clothes don’t bother me.

GCMW: Are there really “rules” in the homosexual subculture? And what purpose do they serve?
BU: Yes, there are rules in the African American lesbian lifestyle. For instance, studs don’t date each other. Roles within relationships must be flexible and two fems [lesbian who is feminine in appearance] can be together because society accepts that. These are unwritten rules that no matter where you go, they just come into play. When I look back now on the life and I see how juvenile we were, I just laugh. The rules are set forth to determine the popular lesbians from the not so popular ones. It’s definitely more in the young gay communities. Once you get past the age of 30, you no longer abide by the rules.

GCMW: That’s very interesting. And why do you think these “rules” exist?
BU: Well they do provide the subculture with a measure of structure, attention and popularity. But really homosexuality and its role rules they follow is a defacto existence. If they simply lived and loved the way God planned and intended those rules would not have to exist.

GCMW: Tell me about your own deliverance. I mean was there something in particular that broke it for you or it was just God’s time that you come out?
BU: Well, it was both. On august 8th 2007, I was at home by myself, washing dishes and I heard a voice. Very clear, the voice said “you need to call your youth pastor or today is going to be your last day on earth.” I heard the voice, but didn’t pay it any mind and continued washing. The voice repeated itself a second time. Then I stopped and allowed my mind to retrace. When I was 19, God spoke to me and I didnt listen and the result was me getting hit by a car. On august 8th, I ignored again but God spoke the same thing to me one last time. Finally, I got up and went to my mom’s room to find my youth pastor’s number and called her, but there was no answer.  While in my mom’s room, something I cant explain in words came over me. I began to cry uncontrollably, all this pain and hurt from my childhood came up. The room seemed like it was spinning. I couldn’t stop crying. I called my sister and I couldn’t even explain what was going on. She called my mom and my mom came home.  When my mom got there, the crying had stopped somewhat. But after I calmed down I felt this peace that I hadn’t felt in so long. It was a “chains being broken” peace, a “no longer bound” peace, an “eye opening” peace. My mom got the bible and laid it on me. And I said “Im out, Then my mom said, “you are free, no longer bound by that life”.

I went to work and asked to leave early so I could go to church. And now when I think about it, I know I was cleaned up because on my way to work and after I didnt even desire to listen to that music that had once polluted my ears.  When I got to church I told my youth pastor what happened and she said she knew God designed me to be a leader, and the same way I turned females out in the church, I would direct them back to Christ. So the next day I got my hair done, bought girl clothes and did the girl thing. But I wasn’t fully sold out until the next day, when the most amazing thing ever happened to me. August 10th,  I was at work. I didn’t tell anybody in the gay lifestyle about my transformation, because I didn’t want them to bring me back in. But while  at work, I got a phone call saying “we are going to kill you today”.  I went and found a bible in the store and started quoting the only scripture I knew.  No weapon formed against me shall prosper. I told the Lord I know you didnt just deliver me for me to die. As time went by, I forgot about the phone call. Ten minutes before time to leave there was a knock on the door and 5 girls outside with bats ready to assault me.  I nervously changed into some feminine clothes, (out of my work uniform) and got ready to leave the store. I was the third in line. As we walked out the store I heard the girls say,  “where’s Brittany, where’s Brittany?  I guess she didnt come to work today.” As soon as I got in my car I began praising God that his angels encamped around me and protected me from the enemy and they didn’t even recognize me. That’s when decided to go 150% for God and not look back. God delivered me from homosexuality Aug 8th 2007, but everyday I’m free from satans attacks.

GCMW: What’s your passion now that you have a book out and you’re sharing your testimony with others?
BU: I remember being asked what my passion was my senior year of high school, and all I was interested in was girls and basketball. Now my passion is doing the will of my Father, and if that means going out and sharing the gospel through my testimony, I’m willing to go. My main passion is just letting people know that freedom is possible, and there’s a God out there that loves them and wants a relationship with them.

GCMW: Is it important to tell others that you came out of lesbianism? You could just be generic about it. So why be specific?
BU: I like to be specific because homosexuality is one of those taboo topics which nobody really wants to discuss. So when you see a young lady like me, out here proclaiming freedom from something that to most people is unchangeable,  people start to tell others, the message spreads and more people can become free.

GCMW: Brittany for females who are still in the lifestyle kicking it and saying sex with another female is cool, what would you tell them?
BU: Well, I give them the breakdown of my testimony. Then I explain to them that God gives people what they want. The due penalty for sin is death. So they will have to make the decision on their own. It also depends on the situation, because the Holy Spirit has directed me other ways on what to say. So when it really comes down to it, it’s whatever God wants me to say.
