COGIC prepares to ‘consecrate’ sexually immoral pastor
ATLANTA – Ignoring an impassioned letter for reform in the nation’s largest black pentecostal denomination, Bishop Charles Blake, Sr and his cadre of fellow Church of God in Christ (COGIC) bishops are preparing to consecrate [Superintendent] Joseph E. Hogan, Jr. as a bishop. In November, Hogan will be promoted and has been selected to allegedly head the “North Central Jurisdiction” comprised of about 30 odd churches siphoned off the Central Georgia jurisdiction after the death of Bishop Chandler Owens.
Sources (whom we cannot identify for fear of retribution) very close to this story told COGIC Abuse Watch the selection of Hogan was a “travesty”.
The right choice?
Billing himself as the “right choice”, Hogan used this video to promote his candidacy for bishop of the church’s Central Georgia Jurisdiction, But after much politicking, legendary COGIC infighting and a vote, he did not win. To pacify him, Hogan was given approximately 30-45 (per his victory speech video) churches out of the 100 to start a new jurisdiction. In the end, politics and bad judgment won.
If the bible says that among believers there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people, what of the widespread sexual immorality among leaders?
Who is this man?
Hogan, pastor of New Life Tabernacle COGIC located in SE Atlanta, is a superintendent in COGIC, a midlevel administrative position generally supervising five or more churches. In the video, Hogan says he has been serving in the Central Georgia Jurisdiction for some 52 years and pastoring 32 years. He has been married 39 years.
A deadbeat gone wild
In 2005, Hogan (then serving as a ranking official under Bishop Chandler Owens (d. 2011), impregnated Sherry Adams, the wife of his assistant pastor, a man who had served with him for some twenty years.
Public records from Clayton County (GA) Superior Court show that Hogan initially denied the child was his, but after a paternity test, he was ordered to pay child support. In 2011, Hogan stopped child support payments and was subsequently sued and arrested. The case was dismissed “without prejudice” which in legal terms means that he could be sued and/or arrested again in the future for the same offense.
An elder who has served for a number of years in the Central Georgia jurisdiction told Report COGIC Abuse that the child Sherry Adams sued Hogan for child support is only one of several illegitimate children. He suggested that Hogan’s sexual wild cards are a result of the lack of discipline by his two former supervising bishops. In his campaign video, posted just five months ago, Hogan only acknowledges 4 children by his current wife. But according to the court documents, the statement is intentional deception.
What does the bible say about men who desire the office of a bishop?
If a man desires the office of a bishop in the Lord’s church, the scriptures are clear and direct in its qualifying stipulations for that man.
The Apostle Paul wrote that if a man desires the office of bishop, he desires a good work. Its important to understand that the office of a bishop while spiritual, is also equally administrative. Thus, “desiring” to administrate (oversee others in organization, supervision) is a good thing. However, because it has serious spiritual ramifications for those under such a person’s supervision and for the body of Christ at large, the prerequisites are intended to prevent unqualified individuals from accessing the office.
Those 16 qualifications are found in 1 Timothy 3rd chapter:
A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behavior, given to hospitality, apt at teaching; not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for filthy lucre, but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; one who ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all dignity. (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?) He must not be a novice in the faith, lest being lifted up with pride, he fall into the condemnation of the devil. Moreover he must have a good reputation with those who are outsiders, lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
Just by the adultery, lying, covetousness and deception alone, Hogan fails to meet a minimum 4 of the 16 qualifications. Sources also charge that Hogan does not reside with his current wife due to his repeated cases of sexual immorality. Sound familiar?
Doesn’t Bishop Charles Blake know this? If he does, why would he go against the scripture to elevate a man who clearly is unqualified for the office of bishop? If Hogan’s life is out of control now, what excesses will he be able to indulge in once he is given the power of a bishop’s office? For context, Hogan was a faithful disciple of one of COGIC’s most notorious homosexual sex offenders, Bishop John Husband (d. 1991). Incidentally, the church’s current presiding bishop also served as a “youth pastor” under Husband. Are the errors of the past about to resurrect themselves for another Georgia “jurisdiction”?
Warning before a great fall?
COGIC’s stunning disregard of biblical directives in its leadership selection processes has produced numerous high profile embarrassments for the denomination. That’s why COGIC’s former Chief Justice, Bishop Samuel Nesbitt of Jacksonville, FL wrote Bishop Charles Blake a sweeping and detailed letter warning him that the denomination’s habit of allowing sexually immoral men (among other things) into leadership would be its undoing. Strongly suggesting that COGIC was being intentionally deceitful —and hypocritical— against its public proclamations of holiness, Nesbitt wrote:
“Based on my study of (the etymology of the word lying, and relating it to die meaning of the words hypocrite, deceiver and pretender, I conclude that whether the deceit is uttered (orally) or by an overt act, it is a lie. A hypocrite, a deceiver or a pretender may be classified as “a liar in action.” For this reason, we should be careful what we do and what we say. We are also obligated to place persons in nasttions of leadership who meet the moral standards, as prescribed in the WORD, and the standards which the title represents. A person should not be made to think that he is what he is not In Galatians 5:3, St Paul says: “If a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.” It is not difficult to see how a deceived person may cause harm to others who may rely upon him to produce that which he is not qualified to perform. As leaders of the Church Of God In Christ, Inc., we are obligated to take every reasonable precaution to see that we don’t place persons in positions who lack the qualifications to produce what the title is known to represent When we knowingly place persons in positions, for which they are not qualified, we may be guilty of making a person think that he is what he is not: That is deceit”

Tentacles: the leaven of the gay agenda

Shofarsound: Tell me how the homosexual agenda fits into end time prophecy.
Pastor Joe: Jesus warned us that in the last days, just prior to his return, that the world would become just as vile as it was in the days of Lot, who was persecuted by homosexuals of Sodom (Luke 17:26-30). That homosexuality is one of the sins in view in Sodom is made clear in Jude 1:6-8.
We are also warned in the book of Revelation, that the world will become so wicked, that even the holy city of Jerusalem will become like Sodom and Egypt in the last days (Rev. 11:8).
Add to these passages the fact that the apostle Paul, in 2 Timothy 3:1-7 stated that the last days perilous times would come, and that many people would be “without natural affection.” The Greek word that Paul uses is Astorgos, which literally means “without family love” or “without natural love.” The only other place that Astorgos is used in the New Testament is in Romans 1:31, just after Paul condemns homosexual behavior and other sinful activity. Paul’s warning in Romans chapter one, that men abandoned their natural relationship with women for that which was against nature, is certainly “unnatural affection” and against God’s plan for what He created to be a truly loving family. This brings us back to Crowley’s satanic quest to usher in the age of Antichrist, and destroy the family, which he called “public enemy number one.”
Moreover, in the book of Revelation, which deals with the end of the age, Jesus, not only prophesies about a return to Sodomy, but warns that the final judgment will be for many sins including “abominations,” which we discussed earlier, includes homosexuality (Revelation 21:8, 27).
Shofarsound: The recent passage of California’s gay indoctrination law reveals a tell-tale moment about the goals of homosexual activists. What do you think is the ultimate goal of the homosexual agenda?
Pastor Joe: The most hideous aspect of the goals of the homosexual movement is that many homosexuals want legal access to our children. While this is obviously not true of all homosexuals, we can see that many of the leaders of the modern day gay movement, going back to Crowley, Harry Hay, Alfred Kinsey and Kenneth Anger, they were after the very young. Whether it was Crowley’s sexually perverted orgies with young boys; Harry Hay’s marching with NAMBLA; Kenneth Anger’s relationships with young men like Bobby Beausoleil or Kinsey commissioning the molestation of children in an effort to prove that children are sexual creatures. We document in “The Kinsey Syndrome” that Kinsey favored incest and that he, and many of his associates, have led the way in lowering or eradicating the age of consent laws.
Shofarsound: How is the homosexual agenda influencing the gay christian movement’s theology?
Pastor Joe: The homosexual agenda influences Gay theology by continuing to place the worship of the creature above the worship of the creator. When this takes place, the whole created order is inverted. Tragically, those who embrace gay theology hold the words of their leaders in higher esteem than those of the Lord Jesus Christ, the apostles and the prophets. When you erode the authority of scripture and begin with Satan’s premise in Genesis chapter three, asking “Hath God said?” about things He has already made clear, you fall into the trap of replacing God’s truth with Satan’s lies. Homosexuals, who claim to hold to the authority of scripture as the word of God, typically seek to explain away the many texts that condemn homosexual activity. They ignore the fact that the entire church for 2,000 years, beginning with the early church father’s, uniformly understood God to have made Himself abundantly clear throughout holy scripture, to be against all sexually immoral behavior, including homosexuality.
In 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12, we read that the world will refuse to love the truth and be given over to the lie. The apostle Paul reveals to us that this will result in the worship of the Antichrist as God (2 Thes. 2:1-4). Paul makes a similar point in Romans chapter 1:18-32, when he states that those who worship creation instead of God, believe a lie. Discerning Christians should see where this lie is going and hold fast to God’s Word without wavering.
Shofarsound: We dont see a lot of evidence of the church responding, but in light of what you have revealed, how should the Church respond to the homosexual agenda?
Pastor Joe: I believe that we need to respond to the homosexual agenda with Christ’s great commission. We need to speak the truth in love, and share with homosexuals, the same way we share with those who are caught up in other sins. We need to approach those who have been deceived by the leaders of the homosexual agenda, in a spirit of humility, remembering that we too were enslaved to one vice or another, whether it was homosexuality or a myriad of other sins. We need to remember that we are saved by God’s great grace and that God impartially extends this grace to all of humanity (Titus 2:11-13). We need to remember Paul’s Holy Spirit inspired words when he instructed us to:
“…. always to be gentle toward everyone. At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit” (Titus 3:2b-5).
We need, as the Lord instructed us through the apostle Peter, to always be ready to give an answer for the hope that is within us, with gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15).
We need to share the gospel and remember that it is the power of God to salvation, to everyone who believes (Romans 1:16). We need to share with those caught up in homosexual activity, that the power of the gospel to save, refers not only to the power to deliver us from the penalty of sin, but the power of sin. Many who are caught up in homosexuality have experienced the power of the evil one and cannot comprehend the fact that they can be set free. We need to share with them the power of God’s Word (Heb. 4:12); the power of the gospel (Romans 1:16) and the power of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8). We need to let them know that the same power that rose Jesus from the dead, is available to them in person of Jesus Christ, if they are only willing to sincerely repent of their sins and embrace Him through faith as the Lord and Savior (Romans 8:11). He has promised victory to whoever will come to Him (John 6:37).
I would strongly counsel that we fast and pray for our friends and loved ones, and all who are bound by the spirit of homosexuality. I truly believe we will see greater and greater victory in the lives of those we are witnessing to, when we first break up the fallow ground with prayer and fasting:
“Is this not the fast which I choose, to loosen the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, and to let the oppressed go free and break every yoke?” (Isaiah 58:6).
We need to sincerely love and pray for those who have been given misinformation and taught that homosexuality is not a sin, or that it is genetic, or that it is impossible to be set free.
Lastly, I would encourage that those who are in need of help or guidance, to contact ministries like your own, that specialize in biblically based ministry to those caught up in homosexuality. We need to pray for ministries that are on the front line of this battle, so that God will graciously hold them up, and use them mightily to save those who are bound by the stronghold of homosexuality.

Shofarsound: How did Crowley come up with his doctrine?
Pastor Joe: Crowley claims that he came up with his doctrine, as he dictated the “Book of the Law,” which he claims was channeled through his wife a demonic spirit entity, he identified as Aiwass. In his later publications he identifies Aiwass with Satan himself. I have no reason to doubt him. Seeing the magnitude of his influence, I have no doubt that he was in the very least, being used by some very powerful and high ranking demonic entities, if not Satan himself!
Shofarsound: Can you explain Aleister Crowley’s relationship with the founder of the modern day gay rights movement 
Harry Hay?
Pastor Joe: Harry Hay, was not only a member of Crowley’s cult known as the O.T.O (Order of the Temple of the Orient (O.T.O), but was a practitioner of Crowley’s sex magick and the founder of the “Gay Liberation Movement”.
Shofarsound: So he co-0pted Crowley’s satanism for the gay movement?
Pastor Joe: Harry Hay was called the oldest hippie in the counter culture revolution of the 1960s and he played a decisive role in altering the views of the young regarding human sexuality. He grew his hair long and wore hippy beads, all in a quest to carry out Crowley’s satanically inspired “Book of the Law.” He helped fulfill Crowley’s request that his teachings be circulated among the young. The fact that he became the leader of the modern day homosexual movement says a lot in that regard.
Shofarsound: Its disturbing at the least, but Hay was a strong defender and participant with the pedophile organization NAMBLA, wasn’t he?
Pastor Joe: Hay was a lifetime advocate of North American Man-Boy Love Association and even marched with NAMBLA in gay-pride parades. As a disciple of Aleister Crowley’s, Hay went so far as to march with the man boy sex association with a “NAMBLA” placard emblazoned over his body. In 1994, Hay refused to march in a gay-parade in New York, because they forbad NAMBLA to march with them. Hay joined another gay parade that year because they allowed NAMBLA’s participation.
Crowley taught that when the age of Horus would finally emerge, the whole concept of immorality and sin would be engulfed in the flames of the New Aeon. His desire to legally have sex with children would finally be acceptable. Hay, as a disciple of Crowley’s teachings, and as member of his O.T.O, would have loved to see pedophilia decriminalized.
Shofarsound: Attitudes about sex in America underwent drastic change because of a researcher named Alfred Kinsey. You say he was also influenced by Aleister Crowley?
Pastor Joe: According to Wardell Pomeroy, who was the coauthor of Kinsey’s sex reports, Kinsey not only loved Crowley’s perverse homosexual writings, but also went to Crowley’s former sex temple in Italy, called the Abbey of Thelema, to obtain Crowley’s sex diaries. We reveal in our video The Kinsey Syndrome, that Crowley had been working with a number of pedophiles, who he instructed to keep sex diaries, documenting the details about how children were reacting to being molested. This is how Kinsey was able to record data in his sex reports with children and babies as young as a few months old. Whether Kinsey had employed Crowley, who was struggling financially in his latter years, to record a sex diary for him, or Kinsey just happened to know he had a sex diary, and where to find it, is unknown. Either way, such behavior is unbelievably wicked, and is one of the reasons Crowley was called by the press of his day, “The Wickedest Man on Earth.”
Pomeroy, Kinsey’s closest colleague at the time, writes that Kinsey was not only able to procure Crowley’s sex diaries, but that he and Satanist Kenneth Anger removed the paint off the walls of Crowley’s sex temple, that the Italian government had used to cover Crowley’s obscene pedophilic pornography, and discovered the obscene orgies involving children. Pomeroy writes in his book, Dr. Kinsey and the Institute for Sex Research:
“The Great Beast and his followers were against any kind of religion, in any form, except their own. They held group orgies as a part of their ritual, and included in them the small children….The walls inside were still painted in British Oriental colors, and were covered with the ‘most open’ (as Kinsey put it) sexual action pictures….The remainder of the paintings were life-size representations of sexual activity, both homosexual and heterosexual, singly, doubly and in groups, including children” (Wardell B. Pomeroy, Dr. Kinsey and the Institute for Sex Research, p. 413-414).
Shofarsound: The gay rights movements hails Kenneth Anger as an “important” figure in American filmmaking. But would you say his films were fundamentally homosexual propaganda?
Pastor Joe: Kenneth Anger was making films promoting homosexuality long before Hollywood followed suit. Most of his movies push homosexuality, Satanism/occultism or both. He is a follower of the teachings of Aleister Crowley, and like Harry Hay, a member of the O.T.O. In his movie Lucifer Rising, Anger cast his live-in boyfriend, Robert Beausoleil, who would end up committing the first documented murder for Charles Manson, as Lucifer. The objective of the film was to show the influence of Crowley’s magick, causing the dark forces of Lucifer to rise. Kenneth Anger was also a cofounder of Anton LaVey’s Church of Satan, and he sports a huge tattoo that reads “LUCIFER” across his chest. Anger also wrote forewords for two of LaVey’s books, The Devil’s Notebook (1992) and Satan Speaks! (1998). Anger was also a confidant of Alfred Kinsey’s and journeyed with him to Crowley’s sex temple in Italy to aquire Crowley’s sex diaries. We show a picture of Anger and Kinsey in a staged photo beneath a large photo of Aleister Crowley.
To get an idea of just who Kenneth Anger has influenced, we need only look to Bono of U2. Bono, who many emergent’s view as the unofficial leader of the Emerging Church, has said in the past that he wants to turn America on to Anger’s movies.
Bill Flanagan, a close personal friend of Bono, stated in his biography authorized by Bono, that Bono and U2 were seriously considering starting a new TV network called the Zoo TV Network, to turn the world on to the movies of Kenneth Anger and Wim Wender. In an Interview with Details magazine Bono said that, “Part of America’s dilemma is its TV, because as a mirror it’s a pretty distorted one. I mean, where can you see a Kenneth Anger film in the United States?”(Turning Money Into Light, Details, February 01, 1994)
Christians need to wake up to the fact that we are living in perilous times and we need to take Jesus’ words about watching out for false prophets who come in sheep’s clothing more seriously!
Shofarsound: In the movie “Lucifer Rising”, Anger used an upside down rainbow triangle. What significance does that have and where is it used now?
Pastor Joe: That’s a great question. Inverted triangles of various colors were used by the Nazi’s to designate various groups i.e., orange for gypsies, blue for communists, pink for effeminate homosexuals. Many of the Nazi’s were gay, but they persecuted homosexuals who were known to be effeminate. Some homosexuals have used pink or rainbow triangles as a celebration of homosexuality. Kenneth Anger uses it to make a statement about both Homosexuality and Satanism. When Kenneth Anger uses it in the introduction of Lucifer Rising, it appears right side up. By the end of the movie it appears again, but is inverted. I believe for Kenneth Anger, it is a symbol for the satanic inversion of society and biblical morals, as a result of the rise of Lucifer and the Crowleyan age of Horus. Satanists have long pointed out that Satanism is in many ways, an inversion of Christianity. Anton LaVey pointed out in the Satanic Bible, that the word “Live” is “Evil” backwards. We also see that many Satanists have used the upside down cross.
It is interesting that in one of Lady Gaga’s latest videos entitled “Born This Way,” she copies Kenneth Anger’s Lucifer Rising, in that she begins the video with a right-side-up triangle, and at the end of the video, she inverts it.
In the song she confuses what God reveals to be unnatural and immoral behavior with race and sings, “No matter gay, straight or bi/lesbian trans-gendered life/I’m on the right track, baby…. You were born this way….” All such behaviors are an inversion of the natural order God has ordained.
The Demise of America and why it’s necessary
For the first time in it’s history, the United States is on the verge of defaulting on its debt, leaving many to worry about whether or not they’ll receive a monthly check in order to pay the bills, feed their families and simply just live.
The failure to get our financial house in order could send economic shockwaves not only across the nation, but across the world. To put it bluntly, we’re in trouble. Since the beginning of this economic turmoil, gold, which began at around $737 an ounce in late 2008, to a record $1,600 in the past day (July 2011). While gold has surged in worth and stability, the U.S. dollar keeps crumbling against the Yen and the Euro, by most forcasters, the U.S. dollar will reach it’s end within 10 years.
It’s hard to imagine that something as dependable and reliable as the dollar was throughout the past 100 years, could come to an end. Yet, that is exactly what is occurring, and by all accounts, the world is not losing any sleep over it neither.
From a 9.2% unemployment rate that has not changed in 6 months, to forclosures across the country, the image that was once virtual and prosperous that was America, is quickly becoming an image of the past. America is dying and it seems that what was once unthinkable is becoming possible and what was once considered a myth is becoming reality, and that is America is just like every other nation on the planet.
But it’s not just economic’s that have caused this nation to swagger like a drunkard, it is also her ability to be drunk with immorality and idolatry as well. Many would be surprised to realize that at one point in this great nation America held to certain morals and values, all based on Christian principles. During it’s first 200 years, marriage was held to a high esteem while crime was quickly punished under a righteous, but not perfect, system of justice. There was a real sense of fear upon those who dared to challenge the moral code of conduct and, those who willingly stepped over the line, found themselves staring at a determined system of justice. Seldom was the cry of “injustice” ever spoken.
But as the nation grew more and it’s people became comfortable, even the Godly, at times, became slumberous and a subtle change began to take place in the heart of America. The concept of individual rights was beginning to change to reflect more of a socialist point of view. Of course this wasn’t as outspoken as one would think, it was subtle at first, seeking to find voices of like manner who would embrace the idea of rejecting individual rights to a more common idea of public order (the idea which says individual rights must give way to the greater good as determined by Government).
Thus, the concept of world Government began to grow.
Today, the concept of individual rights, i.e., religion, property, speech, wealth, have all but been disbanded to accept a more global concept of Government for all and individual rights for none. As we watch another year go by, we are seeing the end of democracy as well as a way of life many have known for hundreds of years. What is taking it’s place though, is nothing short of evil.
The word of God states that “Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” 2 Cor. 3:17 It is clear in the word, God loves liberty for his people. Liberty and freedom are fundamental truths found in the word of God. It was Christ going to the cross which brought eternal freedom to mankind for sin. The resurrection of Jesus Christ from his tomb brought freedom from death and the grave. So the idea God wants man to live free, within the perimeters of his word is a good thing. Yet, men, whose hearts are evil and wicked due from sin, has conspired with Satan, the true enemy of mankind, to reject freedom and liberty for all and thus enslave many into bondage.
America is becoming a past tense in the final chapters of human history and what’s more, it’s a necessary thing.
God always has an agenda planned out. From the moment the world, the universe and man himself was formed, God had already planned the final events which would shape and form the world and all its inhabitants. This is God’s prophetic timetable and one thing is always clear, when God sets his prophetic timetable into position, nothing or no one is going to change it.
What we are seeing taking place in our nation is nothing more than God moving his hand from off our nation and allowing events and circumstances to shape the final world events, and this includes removing America from being a world superpower, to a more neutral at best nation with little control over the world or those who would do harm. The truth remains, we had our run, our moment in the sun and it’s time to allow God’s perfect plan come into being.
In the coming years we will begin to see a major shift take place in our nation from world prosperity to one of economic turmoil. We have always been able to come out of our economic plight, after all, it’s been our staple for hundreds of years. But not this time. Again, our demise as a nation is due to several factors, immorality, injustice, unloving, unthankfulness, idolatry, homosexuality, greed and the list goes on and on. How much more can God ignore our sins?
This nation allows the murdering of millions of unborn children daily while we gloat over our sports teams and movie stars or the latest iphone. We now are beginning to teach children lessons on homosexuality under the guise of secularism without the word of God to guide our way. We ignore the poor and support the rich and wealthy at any costs. There is no question, the hand of God has been lifted from this nation and when God lifts his hand from a nation or people, judgment is the final outcome.
What our nation will resemble in the coming years is anybody’s guess, I myself do not know, but I know this, whatever it will revert to, it will not be the same as I have known it. Already there are telling signs of what is coming. Under then President Bill Clinton, NAFTA was imposed, furthering this concept was George Bush Sr., but it was Bush II as well as our current President Obama that instituted, without public knowledge, the impending of a three nation state, removing all borders and merging America, Mexico and Canada into one alliance.
In Jan. 2011, Mexican Pres. Calderon signed an executive order to start issuing bio-metric ID cards to Mexico’s school children to help them qualify for “Trusted Traveler” cards that will eventually allow them to travel unhindered in all three nations. About the same time, the U.S. Border Patrol was working on America’s “Trusted Traveler” card and a “FAST” (Free And Secure Trade) card that will allow approved truck drivers to cross all borders unhindered (without inspections) in Mexico, Canada and the United States.
In Feb. 2011, Pres. Obama and Prime Minister Harper of Canada signed the “Beyond the Border” declaration legalizing “continental integration” (the NAU), a North American Commission, a North American Parliament (government) and a Court on Trade and Investment. The effective date was not revealed, but the formation of the NAU now appears to be a done deal. Pres. Obama agreed to keep the borders open so as not to impede commerce. He also agreed to develop a biometric ID system to track ALL North Americans and to delay a final decision on a new currency.
America as we know it is coming to an end. Israel, the middle east, Europe and China as well as Russia, are moving fast toward a new world system and the only thing which stands in this new era of global power is the United States of America. I believe that our time as a nation is almost complete and our demise is nearing. I take no joy nor gladness in this fact, but the truth must be told. God is trying his best to warn the church that terrible times are coming, what guaranteed our liberty and freedom is no longer a viable option. The preaching of the gospel should be our only objective and our protecting of other believers in the coming change should be our top priority.
What we will see shortly is a complete economic collapse which will result in a new system of economic change which will lead us all, eventually, into a one world system, a one world mark of the beast and eventually a world leader. And the church will find itself facing down it’s most deadliest enemy.
Let us remember the words of our Lord, “We must work the works who sent me while it is yet day, for the night is coming when no man can work.” John 9:4
While we still have the liberty to preach the gospel, we must do so now while we still are able to do it.
Repent, for the judgment of God is at hand!
There is a level of evil that is building and sweeping across this nation as well as most of the world like never before. In my years as a student of history and world events, I’ve never seen the level of wickedness and perversion as I see taking place currently in our world today. It’s almost as if someone has flipped off the morality switch and all hell has broken loose.
Here are some points to consider:
California is set to become the first State in the union that will require (mandate) every child in the State public school sector to know and learn about same sex relationships, homosexual lifestyles, tolerance/diversity training and, to top it all off, they (students) will be required to learn about homosexual “civil rights” leaders such as Harvey Milk.
Not only has California fought long and hard to make this a political issue, even the Obama Administration is watching this closely, as they to, are designing a program which will bring homosexual diversity training into the classroom to children as young as 5 years of age.
Then, with the recent passage and signing into law of New York becoming the 6th State in the union to adopt gay marriage, the recent lifting of the ban on homosexuals in the military and President Obama himself stating his views of gay marriage is “evolving”, the nation is spinning out of control and perversion is becoming another form of normalcy in the land.
Senators and Congressmen caught in the act of immorality, television preachers caught in love triangles while continuing to make millions off of un-discerning supporters. There is a foul spirit in the air and it’s growing.
Recently, statements by Washington officials and political insiders that suggest the real possibility of civil unrest in this nation is prompting many officials to consider enforcing martial law if things come to a head. It seems our nation is heading toward a point of no return.
From catastrophic weather events where floods, tornados and the past harsh winter where national records for snow and cold temperatures were broken, homes destroyed, lives taken and virtual communities lost forever, all suggest something is happening in our land.
Immorality seems to now be the rule of the day, where open nudity can be seen almost everywhere, where even the push for the sexualization of children seems to be epidemic and the idea of traditional morality is seen as repressive and out of date, we are sacrificing whatever morality we have left on the altar of idolatry.
The world is being shaken. From the economic turmoils that control the economic destiny of people everywhere, to the regulation of restrictions against Christians in democratic nations such as Canada and the UK, where it is now illegal for a preacher to declare the word of God against sin, especially when it comes to homosexuality. Preachers as well as Pastors are being jailed for doing nothing more than proclaiming the truth.
Even in the church today, immorality, false teachings and idol worship is gaining a foothold in many pulpits across America. What was once preached against has now become accepted, and what is now accepted is being preached to those who have ears to listen and hearts to believe. A form of Godliness is all too common today and yet, most believe they are experiencing a revival, yet there is no true power behind it.
It seems as though someone has taken all of the worse case scenarios one could dream up and found a way to make it reality. Even in our civil laws, where justice is promised to the weak and the abused, justice is but an illusion to the highest bidder or the best looking. When a mother, accused of murdering her child can be acquitted by a jury for murdering her own child; who sought the life of night clubs, who waited almost one month before reporting her child missing, as in the case of Casey Anthony, there is a problem with our culture. The Justice system itself has become just that, just-a-system.
But these events, these occurrences are indicators that our world is on a collision course with judgment. With each new day that brings another amazing revelation or discovery, or catastrophe, it only proves one thing, that our world is coming to a significant point in time where Christ has all but told us would come in due season. Today’s headlines are reading like the very pages of Revelation and as such, our only thought should be as believers is, are we doing all we can to preach the gospel before the end of our age nears?
So what is happening? What is going on in our world? Obviously the world is not getting better, it’s becoming worse and with every passing moment of time. What is the answer? The answer lies in the words of Jesus himself in Matthew 24, where he spoke about signs in the heavens as well as in the earth. Jesus gave us a warning of what was to come, and by the looks of it, his words of warning are echoing true.
We as Christians need to take an account where we are at in our own lives, for the time is coming when those around us will not endure sound doctrine, but instead, seeking soothing words, will seek false words and a false hope. But we move forward, preaching to all those who will hear, that judgment is coming.
2 Timothy 3:1-5 “But know this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.”
Repent, for the judgment of God is at hand.
The real gay agenda is on your tv and movie screens
Part 2 of an exclusive interview with Pastor Joe Schimmel of Blessed Hope Chapel in Simi Valley, CA
Shofarsound: There’s hardly a TV show now that doesnt have a “well adjusted” homosexual character. Is this intentional?
Pastor Joe: That’s a great question. Tragically, almost anything that is treated favorably by Hollywood and mass media becomes infectious and catches on, even if it is deadly. Humans are very impressionable and easily led by the liberal media. Television shows and movies have been a powerful weapon in Satan’s arsenal to erode godly morals among the American populace.
Oprah Winfrey, who influences millions, promoted homosexuality when she made a cameo appearance on Ellen DeGeneres’ “Coming Out” Episode. Since Oprah claims to be a Christian when in fact she is a new ager, she has duped God only knows how many biblically uninformed Christians on the issue.
Television shows that promote homosexuality are too numerous to list, but in the last couple of years shows like “Degrassi,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Pretty Little Liars,” and “Glee” are at the top of the list, when it comes to glamorizing the sin of homosexuality. Many of these TV shows receive awards from the homosexual organization GLAAD for their promotion of homosexual lifestyles. Wise parents will protect their children from being enticed by programming that is intended to program their little ones with gay propaganda.
In “The Overhauling of Straight America,” authors Kirk and Erastes Pill, advocate this strategy to propagate the gay agenda:
“Where we talk is important. The visual media, film and television, are plainly the most powerful image-makers in Western civilization. The average American household watches over seven hours of TV daily. Those hours open up a gateway into the private world of straights, through which a Trojan horse might be passed … So far, gay Hollywood has provided our best covert weapon in the battle to desensitize the mainstream” (Marshall K. Kirk and Erastes Pill, “The Overhauling of Straight America.” Guide Magazine, October and November 1987 [emphasis added].
Consider the following revealing stratagem from a popular manual, advocating homosexual propaganda, by Harvard trained gay activists Marshall Kirk and Hunter Madsen:
“… Famous historical figures are especially useful to us for two reasons: first, they are invariably dead as a doornail, hence in no position to deny the truth and sue for libel. Second, and more serious, the virtues and accomplishments that make these historic gay figures admirable cannot be gainsaid or dismissed by the public, since high school history textbooks have already set them in incontrovertible cement. By casting its violet spotlight on such revered heroes, in no time a skillful media campaign could have the gay community looking like the veritable fairy godmother to Western civilization” (Marshall Kirk and Hunter Madsen, After the Ball).
We can look at just two of the top movies that came out in the month of June 2011 to see how this propaganda works. The latest X-Men movie (X-Men: First Class) was number one at the box office and very few of the millions who viewed it, knew that they were being indoctrinated by a subversive gay propaganda film.
X-men films develop the theme of various X-men discovering their superpowers, as they struggle with their various mutations and societies reluctance to accept their “coming out,” with their superpowers. Unbelievably, some behind the X-Men movies want their audience to see X-Men as superheroes “coming out,” as analogous to gays coming out of the closet, and their superpowers, as analogous to homosexual lifestyles.
Gay X-Men screenwriter Dan Harris, who wrote the screenplay for X2 with gay screenwriter Michael Dougherty, admitted that he sees X-Men mutancy, and the X-Men’s struggle for acceptance in society, as corresponding to homosexuality:
“…. it’s become more a metaphor for sexual identity and orientation because it’s more appropriate to look at a person and have to say, ‘Are you a mutant?’…. you can’t always look at a person and know that they’re a mutant just like you can’t look at a person and know that they’re gay” (Filmfreakcentral.net critic Walter Chaw, X2).
Openly gay X-Men Director, Bryan Singer, has not only directed most of the X-Men movies but recruited openly gay activist actor Ian McKellen, to star as Magneto, by convincing him that mutants were comparable to struggling gays. McKellen stated “I think he expected that I was going to consider it a not posh-enough job,” but revealed that he was told that X-Men is really about Lesbain, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender people. “I thought he was right,” says McKellen. “It’s not just a fantasy story. It’s a parable.” McKellen is a co-founder of the LGBT gay activist group Stonewall.
McKellen further stated “[The producers] will tell you one of the demographics that X-Men appeals to is young gays…. There are enough people in this world who think that the answer to the ‘problem’ of being gay is to be ‘cured’ of your abnormality.” Thus in McKellen’s mind, rather than view sex between two men as immoral behavior, why not portray it as positive genetic mutation, on the level of the fantastic powers of a superhero?
Homosexual William Earnest in his article “Making Gay Sense of X-Men,” admitted “Singer and his screenwriters equipped X-Men and X2 with the rhetorical stealth needed to fly below the gaydar of many critics and audience members.” [source]
In the latest X-Men installment, when an X-Men who works for the US military is asked how he got away with being discovered through the years, he replies “Well, they didn’t ask, and I didn’t tell.” An obvious reference to the “don’t ask don’t tell” policy regarding homosexuality in the U.S. military. Thus the line is drawn from this X-men’s superpower to homosexuality, and Hollywood has gone a step further than simply legitimizing what billions of people deem to be sinful and destructive behavior, to glorifying it as something to be coveted like a
cool superpower.
When we turn to Pirates of the Caribbean, which like X-Men, has been one of the most successful series of movies ever released, we see similar brainwashing. Johnny Depp admits that he read the book “Sodomy and the Pirate Tradition,” to prepare for his staring role as Captain Jack Sparrow.
Famous Film Reviewer, Robert Ebert wrote: “Depp seems to be channeling a drunken drag queen with his eyeliner and the way he minces ashore and slurs his dialogue ever so insouciantly.” When Rolling Stone asked Depp about the “certain gay undercurrent” so obvious in his Jack Sparrow’s character, Depp responded:
“Well, there was a great book I read…. ‘Sodomy and the Pirate Tradition.’ A very interesting book. I wasn’t exactly going for that with the character. And Keith [Richards] is not flamboyant in his actions. Keith is pretty stealth. But with Jack, it was more that I liked the idea of being ambiguous, of taking this character and making everything a little bit…. questionable. Because women were thought to be bad luck on ships. And these pirates would go out for years at a time. So, you know, there is the possibility that one thing might lead to another. You’re lonely. You have an extra ration of rum. ‘Cabin boy!’” (Rolling Stone, July 2006, p. 50).
Sadly, millions of parents had no idea that Depp had inculcated aspects of a homosexual pirate into his character. Children who are enticed by this character, are led to believe that since Captain Jack is portrayed as a hero, that wearing eye shadow and acting effeminate is the stuff heroes are made of today, unable to always discern the difference between fact and fiction. Gay activist Darrell Risk, in his article “Are Homosexual’s Born That Way?” acknowledges the infectious nature of homosexuality, when young people are exposed to it:
“I have found that even many of my most unbiased straight friends grow skittish with my homosexual candor—say, kissing my mate—when their children are around. Underneath it all, they too understand that sexually free ideas are infectious and that, once introduced to the suggestion of same sex love, their kids might just try it and like it” (Darrell Risk, ‘Born?’ p. 424).
In light of Darrell Risk’s admission that his own public sexual expression has the power to “infect” children who witness it, how much more are the purposely-seductive characters of Jack Sparrow, the X-Men and other Hollywood caricatures and story lines, enticing and infecting millions of our children? Harry Hay, the founder of the gay liberation movement stated, Everyone, even heterosexual people, all have the potential to have that fairy spirit.”
Perhaps no movie has been quite as successful in propagating homosexuality as natural and normative as Brokeback Mountain. To get an understanding of how this movie manipulated the public we can look at a piece of propaganda created out of thin air by the father of the sexual revolution here in America, Alfred Kinsey. Kinsey was exposed for fabricating bogus numbers, when he claimed that 10 percent of Americans are homosexual. Subsequent studies revealed that the truth ended up being between two and three percent. Kinsey was found to have inflated his statistics by interviewing large numbers of prison inmates and prostitutes.
Kinsey also made bogus claim that a disproportionate number of cowboys, who ride their horses in the open range, are in fact gay and hook up with each other to have homosexual encounters. Kinsey never showed any study that would suggest such was the case. I mention this because Kinsey was trying to get America away from the effeminate stereotype of homosexuals that repulsed so many people. Kinsey sought to cast homosexuals as real men. What Kinsey may have done though, was take a page from a Marlboro cigarettes advertising campaign that popularized Marlboro among men just a few years earlier than Kinsey’s wild assertion.
Since 1924, Marlboro was marketed to women, as they were originally designed with a red band around the filter to hide lipstick and advertised as “Mild As May.” In the 1950’s, after cigarettes were proven to cause cancer, Phillip Morris wanted to attract men to his filtered cigarettes, men who would never use filters in the past. How could he get men to smoke what was previously billed a women’s cigarette? Simple: reposition Marlboro as a man’s cigarette by placing it in the mouth of a rugged cowboy. This cowboy, depicted on thousands of billboards nation wide, came to be known as the Marlboro Man. In a matter of months Marlboro went from a market share of less than less one percent to one of the best selling brands in the United States!
Ironically, even though homosexuality is often more deadly than smoking, Hollywood, like Kinsey, sought to make homosexuality acceptable by using a page out of Phillip Morris’ playbook. The licentious movie Brokeback Mountain, recast homosexuality as a lifestyle akin to a healthy masculine cowboy. Kinsey would have been proud!
Shofarsound: Can you give a little more detail on Michael Swift’s comments in the Gay Community News that you mention in your CD expose’ Satanism and Homosexual Agenda?
Pastor Joe: Homosexual activist Michael Swift flaunted gay aspirations in the Gay Community News piece entitled “Gay Revolutionary” as he envisioned a gay utopia:
“We shall sodomize your sons, emblems of your feeble masculinity, of your shallow dreams and vulgar lies. We shall seduce them in your 
schools…. in your youth groups, in your movie theater bathrooms…wherever men are men together. Your sons will become our minions and do our bidding. They will be recast in our image. They will come to crave and adore us” [Michael Swift, Gay Community News, 15 February 1987].
What I find chilling, is that while some of Swift’s statements in the piece are somewhat satirical and inflammatory, is that many of the things he articulates as gay aspirations, with regard to our children, are already happening in our “youth groups…. movie theater’s [and] bathrooms” every day.

Shofarsound: So can we assume that Swift’s revisioning of America under a homosexual rule is coming true?
Pastor Joe: My comments on the question you asked earlier about the media and Hollywood, reveal that they are indeed seeking to “recast” our children in their “image,” as Swift states. Marshall Kirk and Hunter Madsen detail a three-stage plan to homosexualize America in their book, After the Ball. They describe the plan to further the gay agenda and homosexualize America as a threefold plan, “desensitize, jam, and convert.”
The first stage is to desensitize by inundating the public with a “continuous flood of gay-related advertising, presented in the least offensive fashion possible.” They go on to say, “The main thing is to talk about gayness until the issue becomes thoroughly tiresome . . . If you can get [straights] to think [homosexuality] is just another thing—meriting no more than a shrug of the shoulders—then your battle for legal and societal rights is virtually won.” The second stage, “Jamming,” is described as “psychological terrorism meant to silence expression or even support for dissenting opinion.” The third stage is “Conversion” and they define it as the “conversion of the average American’s emotions, mind, and will, through a planned psychological attack, in the form of propaganda fed to the nation via the media” (Selling Homosexuality to America,” Regent Law Review, Volume 14, Number 2, Spring, 2002, available at www.regent.edu)
