The messology of the black church

Nathan Simmons is gone now, his voice no longer calling it like we all knew it was. But when you look around in the church today and see the degenerate messology people are celebrating, you can’t help but say preach, preacha! He excoriates black church, culture in particular with its diseased obsession with personalities.

Sure, there was an element of controversy following even Nathan Simmons which sometimes made his sermons sound almost contradictory. But here in this moment, the message is true. However as powerful as it is, we must take it beyond just the preached word. We have to take both offensive and defensive action. Saints, make a covenant with God that you will no longer applaud that which is putrid in his nostrils. Make a covenant that you will live holy and not get caught up in the demon talent cult seated in today’s church. Let your circle of influence know that talent and gifts will perish, but the word of the Lord endures forever (1 Peter 1:25). If we forsake God’s word, then we are utterly lost.

Psalms 119:105 says Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Without the light of the word, those who trust in the lying prophets, false teachers and the musical cohorts assisting them will trod a path to hell and destruction.

Don’t be silent and passive, proclaim God’s truth to all without respect of persons!

And for all that is worth, the difference between clean and unclean, holy and unholy must never be compromised.
